I've recently been reminded of Johnny Harris. The former Vox employee turned youtuber. I had only watched 2 or 3 of his videos and was turned off by how pretentious he was. Apparently, he also gets his facts almost entirely wrong.

Despite this, there are a ton of people who defend him. I watched one video where someone was going through all the things he got wrong about his European video and there was someone in the comments saying that they are a teacher who acknowledges that he doesn't get most things right in his videos, but they really enjoy his presentation, so they always use his videos in class.

Other comments followed a similar train of thought. Why use a video you know to be wrong, unless they're just using him because they agree with his politics?

I'm not unsubbed to him because I do like listening to his video but goddamn, I am so fucking sick and tired of the Billy Mitchel shit. He's been going on and on about the mofo.

And I get it. Karl was sued by him for lolzy reasons so Karl is madling and he needs the money for court fees and shit like that.

But Jesus fuck. Also in his latest Billy Mitche piece, he shilled for a disingenuous cunt through a false narrative which made me lose a bit of respect for him.

Not a specific one. But most military and history youtubers will proclaim themselves as "experts" about a topic they know nothing or barely about. Not that it matters to them however, when there's much money to be made.

Then there's the type of glue guzzling faggot that i can only describe as "British accent guy talks with a overly serious voice, uses dramatic music and grifts the shit out of a common topic". Is there a exact term for disingenuous retards like this?

I probably should've been more specific as i didn't solely mean military/history tubers in my second paragraph. But lazershit is a very accurate example. But as far as the stereotype meant, i was thinking more along the lines of someone such as "Moon", though they all really just sound and act the same way

Worthabuy.

I tried watching some of his vids after someone here linked one of his videos, and I found the combination of his fast way of talking, thick British accent, and his sense of humor to be far too grating to listen to.

That and his whole "I am right and anyone who disagrees with me is stupid and wrong" shtick really rubs me the wrong way, even if it's an exaggerated bit.
