Earl's new steam name was recently uncovered, with his profile being set to online at the time of its discovery:

He immediately privated after it was posted, making me think he has an alt/buddy troll spying for him.

For those who don't know, Exdeath in Final Fantasy V was the hatred of all of humanity building up in the tree of life that had detached and grown it's own sentience, meaning with this icon Earl is literally (albeit likely inadvertently) calling himself a cancerous growth on (online) society. Should also be noted that Final Fantasy V has the cheesiest strategies of all the job-based Final Fantasy's and people have likely found very quick strategies to kill all forms of Exdeath.

I think it’s a coincidence. Smokey later said on Twitter that he was demonetized for “reused content,” exactly what Kiwi and Nick Nobody were demonetized for, and those two were remonitized within 24 hours because it was an error in YouTube’s system.

UPDATE: Smokey got remonetized around 11:00 last night.
