Because there was a big issue over it years ago you may have heard of called Columbine and because Journalists and researchers weren’t complete retards back then - or maybe the people arguing the point differed from them politically, either way - research was actually conducted that since video games became a thing shootings had gone down. Because people were using the video games as a pressure release.

In short violent video games causing shootings was wrong. And outliers do not prove the rule.
