In November? How's he going to survive without smugly talking/chimping out about Hillary's victory/defeat to everyone he meets?
Don't forget about the day of oppression aka Thanksgiving. I can hardly wait.

Surgery on her throat won't disable her hands, unfortunately. The only people who will benefit from Wu being unable to talk are Frank and the podcast cohosts. In November? How's he going to survive without smugly talking/chimping out about Hillary's victory/defeat to everyone he meets?
She's going to simultaneously use it as an excuse to avoid working on any Revolution 60 patch while also upping her twitter usage (as if you thought that was possible).Surgery on her throat won't disable her hands, unfortunately. Somehow this is even funnier than the idea of Frank buying them one after being convinced they'll "learn to ride it someday"The motorcycle Wu posed with is a confirmed rental. She owns no motorcycles and neither does Frank.
Christmas comes early for Frank! Wont stop Wu snarling though.I'm sure the huge list of close friends you speak to on a regular basis will be devastated.

I'm expecting a sad little Blue Apron tweet, complete with Powerade, with only Frank and John and their dogs in an otherwise empty home.He must be a riot at thanksgiving. I Imagine having to have dinner with him is like his tweets, makes everything about him and proclaiming his imaginary skillset. I feel bad for his ultra conservative family having to spend the holidays with him

You wonder if his co-hosts would like to get rid of him and will use this opportunity to try -- OR whether he's a freakshow that ups the listenership.
I don't think his family's had anything to do with him in a decade or more.
Do you think his parents (entire family) actually have anything to do with him at this point?
Edit; @MysteriousStranger didn't see your post. Does anyone have any information on John's interactions with his family?
I wish there was some way to see the early drafts of the game.I actually contacted a few of John's former associates business-wise for the Wu Article.
Most refused comment, rightfully wanting nothing to do with her.
One, however, speaking under condition of anonymity, essentially established that the only reason that Revolution 60 wasn't essentially Socially Unconscious in space was because Amanda Winn-Lee and Carolyn Vaneseltine forced massive re-writes. It's frankly a miracle the game is as good as it is given Wu's involvement. She dragged the whole project down.

Also, are people still afraid of speaking out against Wu? She's nowhere near as "important" as she was back at the start. Though I suppose Frank would still be willing to ruin people's careers. He's done it before.

Why wouldn't they be? She's rich, unspeakably petty, and has nothing better to do than ruin anyone who pisses her off sufficiently. And you can't even retaliate in kind, because she doesn't have a job or any real social standing you can take away. Also, are people still afraid of speaking out against Wu?
Though I know it'll never happen, I like to think the second the potential employer sees Wu/hears her insane rambling they'll immediately go up to them and say "ok yeah you were right that thing is fucking insane."It's kind of a bad idea to publicly badmouth a former employer unless they did something really shitty, since it might make future employers more reluctant to hire you. Maybe she just wanted to play it safe.
