Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Meanwhile the accursed Anglos embarrass themselves yet again. At least they're keeping the sodomy tradition strong.

I am guessing here they where using duds right? as in there was no chance the missile detonated.
Because holy shit, the nation of orcs unable to figure out plumbling but capable of building intergalactic weapons being more nuclear capable and ready than us is not giving me much hope

It's not actually armed.
In the coming test, HMS Vanguard is expected to launch a single missile that will not be armed with nuclear warheads, about 55 miles off the US coast.

But I'll just leave this here...
The test will be the first time the UK has test fired a Trident missile since a botched launch in 2016 on sister sub HMS Vengeance which left the navy red-faced.

All this "Russian nukes don't work" shit is literally just Anglos projecting, lmao.

“PUTIN! Sort out Ukraine, Brussels and our government!”

All in due time my good Polish farmer!
Despite the best efforts of their politicians to ruin relations with Russia, the average Pshek is alright. To quote a random Russian political commentator I saw in TV one time "Poles? They like vodka and they work hard, just like us Russians. Good people".

Russia's ICBM's likely don't even work...

Also 5 days ago NASA plastering their logo on a the 87th Russian rocket to the ISS.

If not for Space-X coming up these past few years the USA would still be totally dependent on Russian washing machine powered rockets.

Russia is so down that they are cannibalizing backhoes for the shovels.

How many times has Persia been an empire? How many have spawned out of the fertile crescent? Or the nicer part of India?

If anything lots of places seem to create important nations over and over;
Geography demands that there'll be some state dominating North America, so there's always going to be something US flavored, most likely, but the nature of it is the question. It's just where the natural borders work out and the US is shockingly defensible country between the oceans and the our mountain ranges, if you're willing to sacrifice the coasts.
A mobilization officer in the transcarpathian region tried to mobilize the wrong ones:
I wonder if the ethnic Hungarians are tired of getting sent off to die by the "Pure Ayran" hohols.

Always pays to remember that while the UK had a huge navy, it was also full of bad ideas. Remember, four of their battlecruisers exploded at Jutland when the German fleet looked at them sideways. They claimed it was ammunition mishandling, but then Hood did the same thing when it fought Bismarck. British engineering at its finest.

I don't want to defend the Br*tish here but, the their side of the system worked. The sub's ejector system pushes the missile out of the water and in to the air. Once the missile senses it self starting to fall back down it's supposed to fire and take off on it's own.

So they randomly got 2 duds? How many other Trident's are duds?

These things went in to service 40 years ago. All the designers, engineers, and technicians who had practical knowledge gained during the heyday of the cold war are long gone. And we all know the quality of the personal in the Navy now..

These are same Slavic people that cut each others throat every other day and hit the bar together afterwards & get drunk on vodka.

It's likely that the majority of Tridents are duds, if not all of them. It's been a long time since they've been used, and America's ability to maintain things has greatly deteriorated. When's the last time a Trident was successfully fired?

They are preparing the new script as we speak. Yulia Navalnaya is going to be the Russian version of what Tsikhanouskaya is in Belerus. They are going to create an alternative Russian government in exile around her and have it set up shop somewhere in Eastern Europe.
They will probably give her the noble peace prize next year. She will be a regular at all the big EU and NATO meetings as representative of Russia. She will receive heavy funding from all the usual suspects and probably be appointed a US state department minder to do everything for her.

In both cases, the overall dramatic arc is to manufacture another Corazon Aquino who was used as a safe means to overthrow the dictatorship in the Philippines in the 1980s. She was also incredibly stupid and easy for others (especially the US) to manipulate once in office.

The thing is I have a hard time believing that anyone with remote intelligence and thus even the decision makers in the West believe that anyone would topple Putin.

The data all this years shows that. Heck the data should even bluntly show that all this two decades that the west kept the Russian liberal opposition on the life support mode and were doing so especially for more than a decade after it lost most of its Russian income sources

Russian libs have been but a great boon for Putin and Co. Because most of the populace fucking hate and sees the Russian liberals for what they are. And rather support a chimpansee then any of the Russian libs.

You have to be completely ignorant on purpose to not see that. And the fact that they (the west) more or less keeps Putin and Co in power by remotely supporting any opposition. And thus poisoning the well.

Edit

But then again men in dresses are biologically women. Puberty blockers don't cause any harm And it's okay to fuck minors.

So perhaps i'm expecting to much logic from this world.

Well according to the wiki they successfully tested one in 2019. From the USS Rhode Island. A sub that was put to sea in 1994.

So stereotypes are ok when its a country the media is pushing people to hate then I see. Now lets see them do a chart like this about the chinese and indians. and throw in muslims while they're at it. But we all know why that won't happen

That said, the smoothebrain experts have spoken to enlighten people with the blatantly obvious again:

Thank god we have all these experts to tell us things every person on this planet already knows. Even by reddit standards this was particularly retarded

"Yards". It fell into the sea "yards" from the submarine. Can you imagine that? You're on a sub you launch a missile and see it sinking next to you by about 10 or 12 feet. The inevitable attraction of face and palm once more takes me.

But what really blows me away is that if the last test launch was in 2016 and that was a failure this means that for seven years, the British navy have been in the situation of not managing to repeat a failed test. A little maths - I don't know how many missiles we have but I see references with a quick search of having planned to purchase 65. Let us say the the proud kingdom of bongland has 50 such missiles. Now there could be all sorts of factors such as deliberately firing an older one or who knows that but lets keep it simple: the chance of firing one of 50 missiles and selecting the single dud one would be 1/50 (or 2%). Overwhelmingly it suggests there are likely more duds. But, BOTH of the missile tests in the last seven years were duds. Chance of randomly firing missiles and selecting the TWO duds would be 1/50 * 1/49 = approximately 0.04% or 2,500 to 1. It is vanishingly unlikely that there aren't numerous more dud missiles.

Do we still owe the train autist an apology?
I mean most of our munitions and ammo are in Ukraine (a lot of it abandoned in Avdiivka, probably), our nuclear deterrent seems more likely to land on your foot than on your enemy and our military leaders are political creatures who can make General without ever actually seeing combat, it seems. At this point, if Russia wanted to invade Europe by train our biggest defence would probably be that they don't work either.

I keep saying Mexicans because they actually like being Mexican and keep swearing their food is the greatest food ever. It's fine, but Italian food is vastly superior to any Spanish food. Canadians and Americans are embarrassed to be such and have no interest in maintaining the foundations of their cultural identities. I don't like the idea of ethnicity being the basis of long lasting civilizations, but the evidence says otherwise.
Counterpoint: Literally all of Chinese history.
Empires built on a solid foundation have staying power. Chinese culture is indomitable and the geography ensures it doesn't fall apart along with any given empire (dynasty). And there were many of those, often simultaneously. But each time they gradually returned to being the "standard" Chinese Empire.
Roman legalism kept that empire together from its (arguable) start around 200BC through the period where it actually was called an empire rather than just an unusually large city-state republic through the period where it gradually collapsed in on itself until its end in the 1400s when it consisted, more or less, of a single city once more.
The USA is more comparable to the Mongol Empire than to either of the two famous empires. It's a militarily strong regime imposing its will on neighbours, demanding tribute and conquering outright any who refuse. That one lasted less than a century (even if, in the empire itself, it was a tremendously good century).
China also demands ethnic conformity. Everyone there is Hanren regardless of their actual culture. Americans don't have it because our races are very distinct from each other. Niggers and Spics and WASPs are very different from each other even a hundred years ago when they weren't DIE faggots. Now they are more divided than ever because no one believes in the sanctity of the Constitution anymore. So all America has now is a bunch of ethnic peoples looking out for their interests instead of a greater whole.

Sad News today. I don't much about staging troops to avoid Missile attacks so I won't comment on the last bit. A reminder that even if you are winning the enemy still will fight hard. A reminder as well that if you think you are winning you are losing and to never let your guard down. Not even for a second.

On a happier note prisoners were taken. It does also seem like more prisoners are being taken recently but I have no hard data to back that up.

So Canada is donating 850 surveillance drones I'm sure they will all be absolutely annihilated in less than a week. At this point peace talks would be smart but the ukies have never claimed to be smart.

These will actually be somewhat useful although 850 is not that many. And they probably aren't super disposable. But recon drones are really useful and get shot down a lot less than drones carrying grenades for example. I would say they would be super useful for artillery spotting but Ukraine doesn't have a lot of artillery.

Goddamn, where do they get the idea that Russian nukes don't work from ? Russian nuclear arsenal for the most part is decades younger then American one or British..
So true. Russia has built a big beautiful nuclear arsenal. I would put a trump gif here but meh.
The things is I have a hard time believing that anyone with remote intelligence and thus even the decision makers in the West believe that anyone would topple Putin.
People in the west operate under old assumptions because they don't understand why things are the way they are. There used to be people who had a really good understanding of the Soviet Elite and devised strategies tailored to how they behaved. Things like the idea of containment were absolutely correct as a strategy.

But that was a long time ago and the people around now are different. Russia changed and no one can figure out how it works. This is one of Putin's advantages.
How much further do the Russians need to advance now that they have taken the town in order to get somewhere really significant in terms of strategic importance?
To be quite honest it really isn't a question how much land Russia takes. It is a question of how much capability Russia and Ukraine have and how that changes across time. That is the boring part of attritional warfare. This is also why Russia has been willing to trade land for soldiers lives when it came into question.

But to answer your question as best as I can here is a picture of the Ukrainian defensive lines. It would be easier if enough of these were breached though how much easier is not clear.
Ukrainian Fortification lines.jpg
There's no reason China couldn't find some Chinese that can easily blend in with Russia's Asians in the SMO, especially since Ukraine has none of its own. A lot Westerners can't tell Asians apart but it's not an issue for Asians. That said Russia and China have Asians that aren't well known outside their respective regions.
I should clarify why I said China should send officers. The biggest problem the Chinese army, and Marines too I guess, have is that it has been a really long time since they have fought a war. This is incredibly important for fighting well. If they sent volunteers even if only for a little bit it would do their officers well.

Do we still owe the train autist an apology?
What are you referring to for owing him an apology for just be clear because I wasn't sure.
