Startling video shows a group of NYPD cops being attacked by migrants at a shelter on Randalls Island.

Migrants surrounded about five uniformed officers and threw bottles and debris at them as the cops tried to apprehend a disorderly man inside the shelter last Thursday, the video posted on TikTok shows.

At one point, someone hurls a backpack, striking a cop in her head with it. A few moments later, a shelter resident with crutches tries to poke an officer.

Shelter residents are seen screaming at the officers in Spanish. Cops are holding up their batons to deflect the objects being thrown at them.

Cops were called to the shelter around 11 a.m. when a man began arguing with security guards and was “acting in a disorderly fashion,” an NYPD spokesman said.

The man, wearing a white T-shirt, was not a shelter resident, a source said.

In the video, the man can be seen on the floor surrounded by officers who are struggling with him and trying to handcuff him, enraging witnesses watching the arrest.

By the end of the 2-minute clip, shelter security guards are called in to surround the officers, who pick up the man and remove him from the tent shelter.

“Security! Surround the cops! Surround the cops!” someone can be heard yelling off camera.

None of the officers were injured, police said.

The man that sparked the disturbance was charged, but the Manhattan district attorney declined to prosecute and the case was sealed, cops said.

In a press briefing at City Hall on Tuesday morning, Mayor Adams said his administration is undertaking “a review” of the incident..

“Because of that video, we’re going to do a review of some of the actions … because I have to make sure our Police Department is safe and that those residents who are there are also safe,” the mayor said.

Having watched the video, the mayor said he believes the officers “used the minimum amount of force to take the person into custody.”

There are about 3,000 adult migrants housed in the Randalls shelters at the moment, according to City Hall.

“The overwhelming number of them are carrying out their roles here, looking to take their next steps in their journey,” Adams said. “Do you have bad actors? Yes and any time you have 3,000 people who are placed in an environment that they cannot work, they have to sit around all day, things like this have the potential to happen.”

The video is another example of the ongoing strife between police and the city’s migrant population.

The division has become a lightning rod for criticism over the already-polarizing migrant crisis in New York City, with some conservative local lawmakers calling for migrants involved in such incidents to be deported.

On Jan. 27, a group of migrants was caught on surveillance camera beating on an NYPD lieutenant and cop outside a shelter in Times Square.

As of Feb. 14, eight migrants have been arrested for assaulting those officers.

The Randalls Island shelter house asylum seekers coming into New York. It can hold up to 3,000 people.

Lol. Lmao, even. I hope it gets even worse for the cops. I hope they all quit, and the consequences of that fall heavily upon the city and especially the city government.
On one hand, illegal immigrants are here illegally and do illegal things besides trespassing. On the other, any cop dumb enough to be a cop after Derek Chauvin's conviction is a retard.

One of these days one of them migrants is gonna get the Rodney King treatment and all of New York will be on fire. Only a matter of time now.
I could see that happening. Not another Rodney King or George Floyd, but a migrant who's obviously guilty and had a weapon killed by police. You'd have migrants rioting like in Europe but locals sick of their shit. The only supporters would be leftists who cry the migrants are victims.

It would be interesting to see. What surprised me it hasn't happened yet. Or if it has at higher levels where blue states and cities are left in a crime vacuum. That there are only a handful of cops and other first responders that it exposes blue states such as California or New York as shit holes.

May the Shabbos Goys and Filth eat each other. Never do anything to help the police, they do not work for you, you do not give them their debased food credits. Men, take care of your own, your kin, and what friends you have. You have no loyalties to a State that seeks your death and replacement so openly. Let Babylon fall, just be ready to pick up what pieces you can, even if it takes generations.

I'm so confused by sanctuary cities. I thought the cops in sanctuary cities could refer illegals to the Feds if they committed crimes which seems to be the case here.

And why doesn't the US Federal government just withhold funding to states not complying with immigration law?

The arguments I've found so far as to why state authorities can't refer people to immigration seem pretty weak - "Local cops shouldn't enforce federal laws".
But they do for most places in the world - other agencies can refer to federal authorities if the particular offence is not within their jurisdiction.

Even in my prison colony of a country, you can't pull this shit. Not even churches are allowed to offer sanctuary here

Church sanctuary - does it exist under Australian law?
Australia has never recognised church sanctuary, and under the Migration Act anyone who harbours an "unlawful non-citizen" or someone due to be deported risks facing ten years jail and a $180,000 fine.

Places of Refuge: What Legal Basis for the Churches' Offer of 'Sanctuary'?
The churches have been warned, both by legal experts and by the Immigration Minister, that they may face criminal sanctions if they go ahead with their proposals. They may respond that the law recognises their right to free exercise of religion, and that as a result they are not disobeying the law. They may accept that they are in breach of the law but choose to go ahead in obedience to a higher law.

The USA is expected to play by different rules than most other countries in the entire world, and yet we're also the most racist xenophobic country in the entire world.

Why can't I just walk into any country in the world and try to set up roots, and not expect to be thrown the fuck out?

Say for example, I'd love to live in Argentina, it's got some of the the best fly fishing in the world. Why can't I just fly to Argentina as a tourist, and stay indefinitely and work as a fly fishing guide to the other tourist gringos? I'd have an advantage over a lot of the other guides because I speak English, and I'm a great fisherman, from a western country. Foreign clients might flock to my business.

Would they let me stay there, can I just waltz into Argentina and just friggin stay? I'm there for economic reasons and to seek a better life.

Nah, I'd be thrown the fuck out back to America right quick. And rightfully so.

That doesn't happen anymore in America. We are being invaded and people both here and abroad think it's just fucking funny.

What’s beautiful basket ball American hate sharing welfare with the migrants. They will loot all the Rapefugees camps and nearby apple stores.

Ironically if they all quit crime would actually go down because then everyone would be packing and after a while no one would do shit as the Spanish granny selling churros could be packing a gat too.

Every liberal head would explode as people realize they don't need them. At all. For anything.

Funny how I don't see a single white in that video
We're at the "Barbarians storming the gates" stage of collapse, so I could care less. Like it was already said, anyone who doesn't have a SHTF plan and isn't ready to care for their loved ones first and foremost is fucked already. Nothing you can do, or anything you should do at this point: Only focus on yourself and your closest family, sort everything else out after the ashes start to cool. Before that? It might get entertaining, if this little preamble from the 3rd word cattle is anything to go by, will get more interesting once they figure out how easy it is to get guns in this country.
Illegal aliens cannot own guns, you say? Blue cities are no-gun zones, you say? Why would criminals by definition care about that?
