I think it's far more easily explained that The Flash production was too far ahead in production that the execs made the decision not to cancel. Plus, undoubtedly they thought having Keaton back as Batman and featuring him prominently in the advertising would get asses in seats. It didn't.

So, the Batwoman flick hadn't entered post-production yet. And that could be easily another couple of million plus the advertising and having Keaton back didn't really mean much in the case of the Flash so WB thought they should just cut corners and stop the bleeding from more capeshit. It's that simple and I find it funny seeing the calls for this and the Coyote VS Acme movie to be released when everyone (even on here) is assuming they're not massive pieces of shit.

I'd say that you're correct in this.

That said, however, his first movie came out in 2008, when he was sixteen, so between auditions and the filming process, he would have been doing the rounds years before that. I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually comes out that he has significant blackmail material against some high level Hollywood executives. He was a very good looking boy, and easily concealed, affordable digital cameras have been around since the 2000s. On top of that, if Wikipedia can be believed, he started professional singing training when he was six.

While I am a great believer in the "some people are just born dicks" philosophy, nutjobs on Miller's level frequently have help getting there.
