Both sexes suffer from 2 problems: lack of clear male leadership and women being raised to think of themselves as flowers and men as the compost that fertilizes said flowers. To be clear, both problems have a cultural and pedagogic aspect. As in, we are all raised in this environment, to hold certain values. Very quickly the issue becomes not what men and women do collectively but what you personally are doing in your life. A lot of guys seem to confuse pretty with good. A lot of women don't appreciate the men in their lives as human beings with hobbies and aspirations. They are simply utilitarian to their reproductive urges. See the problem for what it is and take steps to fix it.
