The thing is, you would think he'd have a rough idea on printing prices when he set up the campaign. So this shouldn't have come as a surprise to him. But at the same time, it's possible prices jumped up a lot when he started it nearly 3 years ago.

I didn't know he addressed this months ago. It's bullshit really, that's what the IGG Goal is for. You set it at the dollar amount required to fulfill the campaign. If you lowball the goal number so the amount raised has a flashy "10000% of Goal Met!" blurb then tough shit you eat the difference and deliver what people paid for. This is exactly the kind of shadiness Comicsgate was formed to fight against. Frauds.

And before he says the paper shortage and increased production costs were unforseen again I call bullshit. I discussed the paper shortage with EVS on this thread two years ago and he told us his rates were locked in. Inflation of other costs wouldn't have been an issue if they hadn't waited till the books were years late to start drawing and get them printed in the first place.

Agreed. Shoot, while still respectable. The pathetic part is that it's not like this was a $5,000 or $10,000 campaign. It made nearly $160,000. I don't know what agreement he had with Martin to publish it (his cut, royalties, etc.). But I can't imagine a $10,000-$20,000 (or even a third of $160,000) in printing costs will break @FROG.

The worst part is that Martin is working on two other Snowman books. I hope it's not through All Caps. But if he were to try and break away, I can only imagine what EVS will say to make sure Martin suffers.

There were no obvious clues that Vic King was a pedo. He wasn't drawing loli. He wasn't preaching about pedo. He didn't have pedo guests. He was also one of the most marginal and least interesting people in CG. He did drawing streams to audiences of eight people all day and all night. And he was very broke. He almost never got coverage for the same reason that all those other CG streams with nobody watching get coverage. They are not funny and they are not interesting.

Vito on the other hand is Dax's main guy, he has a thread on the farms and he has crossed over into comicsgate at the top by appearing with EVS on his streams.
