ah I was gonna post this and add a note for null that this is the "John" he was referring to, this clip takes place right before the clip that was reviewed on tuesday's MATI. It was not a reference to "johm potter" but it does appear that the suicide/law fund mix up was due to nick's wetbrained state making him slur between his general disdain for null/the farms and this one specific users.

Thank you so much. I've been sending highlights of Rekieta's decline to a friend since his recent drunk rant stream and had to dip back into the start of his downfall for context. Null's confusion and pure amusement here summarizes the community's "Oh what the fuck Nick" of that moment perfectly and I remembered laughing my ass off at it but not the stream. Then it turned into an autistic whale hunt.
I was starting to think I imagined it, went back to the original Rekieta balldo video and then went through the beginning of every Josh stream around then through the MATI site after I posted looking for it only to come up empty. I really appreciate you putting it to rest, it's been in the back of my mind for the past few days driving me nuts.
On a related note, the Outlast fandom is gross and funny. Not quite enough for a thread, but the cringe is overwhelming and makes for an eyebrow raising few minutes of browsing. I tried the permadeath runs for spooky season a few Halloweens ago. Made the mistake of looking into some hashtags hoping to find advice on some of the trickier segments and found a bunch of horny teenagers making serial killer fursonas, thirstposting about murderers buttfucking, and coming up with theories about the dickchopper guy being a repressed tranny instead. All expressed in the finest artistic stylings of a sweaty pubescent fujoshi. How anyone could play those games and come away going "I want to fuck that" is beyond me.

"UM" the voice echoed again. Josh cursed, he had just closed off his stream for the night and during the entire superchat segment something had been glitching out on his computer and causing the word "UM" to be intermittently repeated. As if the Windows notification sounds weren't annoying enough he thought and he made a mental note to return to Linux before long. To get rid of whatever tab was looping audio he decided to shut down his computer and come back to it later.
As Josh got up from his chair the negative thoughts all melted away like a fine cheese as he thought of the fresh hot pizza he would soon be devouring. He went over to his soviet bloc era telephone and phoned the local pizza shop. The fools in America had no idea what they were missing out on, you could get all sorts of sauces on your pizza including hollandaise, and the cheese my god the choices were endless. Josh placed his usual order of three extra large stuffed crust with a can of blue Mother and things were coming together, all he needed now was for the Romanian conscripts to hold the line against the pesky Russians in HOI4 when he fired it up later.

He mused to himself about how he should be good with computers when he works with them all day as he started to walk over to his computer to fix it once and for all. Suddenly a sharp shiver went down his spine and he froze in fear. He looked towards his desk in wide-eyed horror. The computer was still off. The last thing Josh ever heard was "CATCH YOU ON THE FLIP SIDE, HERMIE".
