For me it started with no longer using his shows as background noises because of all the superchats about how someone's cockatiel stubbed its' toe please send thoughts and prayers. Then I used this thread's commentary on the Rittenhouse trial streams to follow how that was going because I was busy at the time. Then the "I'd fuck Mandy" and other degeneracy occurred (including bitching about how his wife "ruined" her body by giving him five children) and I thought to myself "good thing I stopped listening when I did". Then the smug chuckling about Greer's appeal bizzarely going through made me think I was an idiot I was for not realizing how much of a piece of shit he was earlier. In order for Nick to truly change and have a redemption arc, the fundamental thing he would need is to learn some humility, and that would be at odds with ever streaming again. He would need to learn that he's not somehow better than people who work a steady 9 to 5, that he's not too smart and capable to be stuck under the heel of management. If he ever really changes, the only believable sign that it is heartfelt would be him getting a regular person job, and sticking with it. As long as he's streaming, I know for a fact that he is still an asshole and doesn't deserve an audience.
