William Andrew Stamper / "Stamper" / StamperTV / dr_stamper / drstamper / NiggaCrown - Newgrounds old guard on a drug-and-alcohol-induced downward spiral, burning bridges with friends and family, got arrested for DUI

I just watched it and yeah, it's literally just Stamper shitposting irl with an unfunny portly mexican kid for 23 minutes. No new information gleaned whatsoever, there's a comment he makes about how he and the other Sleepycabin guys are "all good," which is obviously bullshit, but other than that he just takes control of the "interview" the whole time and asks the kid dumb shit like what his top 3 cereals are and what his favorite thing to get at Waffle House is
Yeah I got through like half of it and decided it wasn't worth my time. Wonder what the kid promised to get Stamper to show up. Funniest part was when Stamper was asked if he'd ever had crack or meth and promptly and astutely responded with "yes I have".

I wonder if this retard paid him in money or booze because that has to be the dumbest question of all time. No shit he has!

Fuck, I was just listening to the Snickers song today

You're not you when you're hungry
He uploaded the full length version of the Castle Crashers character select music a while ago and until his channel was terminated that was the only place I am aware of that you could listen to it. Such a good goddamn song.

The Castle Crashers Map Theme - He uploaded this almost a full decade after the game's release, and as far as I know it was the only place on the Internet where you could hear the full song. The game itself only has a ten second loop of it
oh wow, thanks for that find, my man.

Stamper unsurprisingly did not show up in court yesterday in Mesa, and warrants have now been issued for both cases. The first sub-page where you select either the events or disposition sub-pages now has a notice present (on both cases) at the top that a warrant is active for the case.

The disposition pages additionally show that a bond of $500 has been set for both cases.
Here are the updated events and disposition pages as of today:
Case 2023023716 (April 25th arrest)

Case 2023056385 (September 28th arrest)

Like I mentioned earlier, I don't know if anything will actually happen to him because of this since apparently it is very unlikely that he would be extradited to AZ for such minor offenses. Still haven't seen him reappear anywhere and he's still in North Carolina as far as I know.

Few interesting things that no one seems to've reported on here.

His autogenerated YouTube Topic channel (archive) appears to be receiving updates of some sort to their playlists, all happening within the past week or so. I'm not a frequent browser of the autogenerated ones so I don't know if this is a normal thing youtube does or not, but the fact the topic channel is still up whilst his main one is down is interesting.

Back when he released the otherwise-unreleased audio for Castle Crashers, he also posted music for another project he worked on in the past, groundCATS (or Groundcats!, varies) on his bandcamp, which was also picked up by the topic channel.

From my own experience listening to older music playlists and albums on YouTube is that this is a normal thing. Automated or not I've seen bands that have "updated" albums and playlists on their channel that literally add nothing, no new tracks or audio. Only thing I can assume is maybe they changed something within the metadata or added a comment or something to the description post-upload. Like I said I've only noticed this with music channels like topic and vevo, nothing outside of that.

Stamper is nice. I hope he is doing well despite the circumstances at present. People tend to be mental health advocates unless it causes issues, then they immediately say “Oh I have x and didn’t act that way” as if everyone with a certain thing is meant to act a certain way.
Unfortunately when it comes to Stamper, I've started to doubt whether sobriety would even help him at this point. I can recall a Sleepycabin episode where he talks about driving off a bridge onto a highway while drag racing. Sober or not there's a lesson to be learned there, don't be a retard. Even if sobriety was on the table I think Stamper would still choose to do retarded shit because he enjoys it and the people that still follow him cheer him on. It sucks because Stamper's a genuinely funny guy but never seems to have a life plan. There's an old quote Null used about Ethan Ralph that I think applies here. To paraphrase, much like Ralph, Stamper doesn't seem to be planning on living until the next day. He continues but never progresses upward.

If I recall correctly, in that car story, he was in the car but someone else was driving. Still, putting himself in that situation, hanging with that kind of friend, being in the car during a drag race, it's just stupid.

Depression can do that to a person man.

Agreed, it's why I still like Stamper and wish he'd fix his life.
Well I have learned one thing, eventually when you’ve had enough of suffering, you will stop harming yourself, that doesn’t have to mean physically. I am not super close with him, we talked on and off because we were going to do a podcast but it fell through. He is normal and kind off camera, and I wish him happiness.

I hope you're right, and I wish that too.
