I don't know, you could argue that he's a refined version of Ralph, in that he has a house instead of crack shack, a wife and kids instead baby mamas and bastards, and world class liquor instead of Maker's Mark.

Rekieta and Ralph both represent alcoholism in how it affects people based on their background. Ralph is a low-impulse and low-iq personality from a poor background filled with dysfunction and self-destructive tendencies. For him alcoholism results in rash decision making and acts of violence when things don't go the way they should.

Rekieta on the other hand comes from a more upper class family that is far more stable, healthy and has better traits for navigating life. For him alcoholism results in weird ways to pleasure himself and other debauched explorations of what he likes.
