So that Reddit link you posted led me to something pretty fucking atrocious (archive). For some background info, Ryan was a 3-year-old boy whose mother ran a popular blog he was often featured on. Tragically, he was hit by a truck and died; his death sparked an outpouring of love and support for his family, which was posted under the "redballonsforryan" hashtag. Obviously this makes his mother a total attention whore according to Alice:

This baby will forever be "that replacement baby that red balloons chick had when she started losing attention". Jacqui's entire identity at this point is being a grieving mother. She's going to be 90 years old and have 9 other kids and still be blathering on about Ryan every other breath. It's the thing she got famous for and she will never ever ever let it go or move on because she feeds on the attention – if she starts putting Ryan to memory and moving forward with her life she becomes just another mediocre looking mom with a kid and all this fame and attention goes away. This new kid doesn't stand a chance of being the sole focus for her parents because they'll be too busy making sure everyone still feels bad about that kid they lost. They should just name this new baby Ryan because she's probably going to hear it so much she'll think it's her name anyway.

This is just mind-blowingly awful and cruel. Even the other forum users called her out on being such a heartless cunt, pointing out that a parent who's buried their child never truly recovers or gets over it.

That was so fucked up. The mom watched her kid get hit by a fucking truck, but Alice thinks she should get over it. That's an unimaginable trauma that no one would get over. The fact that Alice thinks that a mother would use her child's death for attention because she talks about him says a lot about the kind of mother she would have been. I hope her son doesn't know about Alice. I'd hate to know I crawled out of that vile cunt.

That was my sub, but I set it to private after all the bullshit with the blogsnark bitches pretending they weren't dying to know all the dirt on Alice. This was probably the most interesting post, the rest talk about stuff you all have posted here. Here's this from a guy claiming to have seen Alice's dirty pillows:

I honestly don't remember those conversations all that well. I remember thinking she was cool for being one of the guys you could chat with, but also showed her tits.
It seems like nothing has quite changed though about her feelings on women.
I am surprised that she's hiding that she was married. She did say she was a single woman at the time, but had a husband. Never talked about a kid to me, but this isn't surprising because she had expressed at one point that she didn't want to stretch her puss out ,or something along these lines, which I thought was a valid excuse. To clarify, she didn't seem like an intense baby hater, but she definitely didn't want children (I am recalling these fuzzy conversations, and just so you know, I really didn't care about her life and opinions when we talked, so I don't remember thinking anything specific about her. I was more interested in other things.
I don't see a problem with her keeping that a secret back then. But, I find it hypocritical that she would say things about how other women are stupid for having kids and should have abortions and all that crazy shit, when she had a child of her own.
She was also lying about her age as Mercatur too now that her true age has been revealed, but I don't really care about that. I think I actually told her I was a 25 year old when we started talking. Yes, I know I was pathetic, but I swear I matured enough to function in society.
Honestly, she wasn't always so mean, which is why she had fans. I feel partly bad for her, and partly like she kind of deserves the shit she's been getting. There's honestly no point in writing this. I have nothing to really "expose" her for. But, I guess I just wanted you all to know that she wasn't always so openly terrible. Her awfulness has been an evolution of sorts.
ETA: I never called her Alice. She was always Mercatur to me. I think she went by a japanese first name, too."


The guy never posted really after that. And in case it hasn't been mentioned here, Alice's true age is referring to when it was revealed that she was 43 (?) instead of 33, which she was claiming to be on GOMI and on articles about the site

Also, I'm surprised no one is mentioning her war with Crackychan. It's on ED's TrollTalk page.

GOMI was originally a place where people could call out bloggers for their terrible/wtf/dodgy behaviour. I found GOMI by googling "Kelle hampton annoying" and lo and behold there were people talking about this blog I randomly read a few times and saying all the things I thought internally. It definitely didn't used to be as shit as it is now.

Also whoever posted that adblock message - that notice only came up a couple of months after Alice put the redirect on. Users were complaining that they kept getting redirected out of the forums and Alice basically ignored them like huh I don't know what's wrong? She also started preventing people from being able to highlight text once the blogsnark reddit popped up; but people just started posting screenshots which is even easier than quoting text via copying it.

I just can't with this most recent freckled fox front page post. Don't call someone's dead husband their "sweetheart" just because someone remarried. That's so shit and horrible. Maybe just because she'll never have anyone except a tripod (omg SO IRONICALLY HILARIOUS) to call her sweetheart.

GOMI is probably the more popular snark site that targets monetized blogs on the internet. There are dozens (DOZENS I SAY) but most remain under the radar because many of the prolific posters are successful bloggers who crawl to their creep corners to Mean Girl all of their frustrations away. The first post to bring me to GOMI was Hot Widow Boots. Jenny Perrillo of Jenny's Kitchen (NYC food blogger) lost her husband suddenly to a heart attack...

It was really sad, however, Shauna James Ahern, Gluten Free Girl, took this opportunity to ingratiate herself to Jenny (in true Shauna fashion) and start a GFM stating that Jenny was in danger of losing her apartment and economic disaster.... This wasn't true. The Perillo's are a pretty well off NYC family and her husband was pretty successful and didn't leave any strings untied. The issue was that Jenny knew about this fund from its inception, but when confronted about why she would let well meaning strangers think she was financially destitute, when she clearly wasn't, she claimed complete ignorance and threw Shauna and company under the bus. Mind you, during all of this, she was gramming the shit out of her expensive lingerie purchases to cheer herself up with the #hotwidow tag, as well as some pointy toed, stiletto CFM boots, hence #hotwidowboots... Oh, and a trip to Paris.

She received $80K in donations, then made claims she was going to donate it to a charity who actually assisted real widows who were in financial straits, but nothing seemed to happen, and she faded off into the internet ether.

Also, there was that time when theGirlWho live tweeted her house fire while everyone on the internet was like "WUT?".

Alice is not an ugly looking woman in the slightest so I don't get her jealously over young, married women? Though it can be a mental and emotional reaction to her divorce in her early 20s. But it doesn't justify her inexcusable behavior. Who the fuck bashes someone dying of cancer and a child getting hit by a truck? Alcohol is truly evil at times.
