Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Our friend 'Stain Glass Lord Vader' in the cope thread has really lost it.

You heard it here first folx.
The loss of Ukraine will be what caused the revolution.

I can imagine a future where, if Ukraine lost the war, some left-wingers and Ukraine supporters take to the streets. They find anyone with a red MAGA hat and beat the shit out of him. And given many cities have Democrat-leaning officials, even within red states like Texas, the city authorities would barely do anything about it, if at all. Right-wing MAGA chuds hate the state, and the state hates them back, so they won't stick their necks out to protect the chuds if the chuds get lynched.

When The Shitlib Began To Shake :smug:

A question to the American kiwis, who is that Schumer chucklefuck person again?

Polish-Jewish son of an exterminator from New York. Harvard followed by Harvard law. Based on some Jewish relationship that nobody can or will explain, Schumer became the underling of crooked New York Politician Stephen Solarz. He went right into political office from law school in a corrupt new york legislative seat.
By 1982, they were both in the US house and the two of them had the largest campaign funds of anyone in the house (Solarz was #1 and Schumer was #2). They were both owned by Wall Street.
In 1992, Solarz got involved as an underling for Bill Clinton in the democratic primary process. He rabble roused among Jews that one of Clinton's opponents was going to Destroy Israel(tm). He made powerful enemies. Schumar eventually joined the alliance against Solarz and stabbed in the back. Solarz got caught up in a scandal, the New York Democratic party erased his congressional seat and he was politically finished. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Bill Clinton then did what he could to reward Solarz. They tried to make him ambassador to India, but he was too corrupt to survive the nomination hearings, Then they gave him a job running an economic development organization in Central Asia which probably made him several fortunes.
Schumar took his place and eventually was given the New York senate seat about seven years later. And he has been rising ever since. Deeply corrupt. Vain. Egotistical. Kind of Stupid. Addicted to self-promotion. Boomer.

Lemme just come back and check the farms. Oh, some dude paid $260 to feature some dumb thread and the thread about the ongoing war has devolved into violent infighting about how much oil Nazi Germany had. I love you autists, never change.
Imagine how much oil could be transported by trains. We would have about hundred more pages if mass debate splits didn't happen.

In more serious news:

After first denying it, bongs will now extort your gas vehicles off you and sent them to Ukraine.

My next car is also going to be a diesel mercedes, just to spite the westerners. I actually want to go electric because of how smooth and silent they are, but it's just not worth looking like I support this green nonsense.

How practical would a electric car even be ? Unless you are one of those Moscovites that never leaves Moscow.
I do leave the city regularly (I live in the countryside half the time, other half in my apartment, I enjoy both worlds), but that trip is well within what a good electric car can handle on one charge. Apartment garage got fast chargers years ago, I'd just have to change space, and I can get one installed at my countryside home easily, it's an old farm so already wired up with three phase.

I accidently grabbed the wrong image when I was talking about Avdeevka earlier today. That was actually a map of the Northern region around Kremennaya. Though funnily enough my point still stands even though I grabbed the wrong map.

Medvedev admits getting to Kiev for reaching targets of special military operation -Tass

MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev believes that it might be required to get to Kiev for reaching the targets of the special military operation. He also warned in response to a question from TASS during a media session with Russian reporters about the geographic borders of the special military operation that the conflict might not be limited to the current stage.

Endquote

For those that don't know Medvedev often says the brash and frank things Putin would like to say but can't because he likes to maintain the dignity of the Presidential office. I thought this was interesting because we were just talking about what Russia would do in terms of land. This is basically confirmation that Russia is not going to stop with the Donbass.

Battlefield report

Avdeevka continues to see advances. Lastochkino and Severny are seeing Russian advances and Petrovskoye seems to be next. Fighting here is going really well especially for it being such an urban conglomeration. Part of the reason the Donbass is so hard to fight in is it is heavily urbanized. So it is surprising to see things going so well here.

In the Chasov Yar Directions things going well. Apparently there was some really rough and hard fighting going on here but Russia managed to secure a strong foothold in Ivanovsky. The presence of really hard multi-day fighting and the fact that Russia was going to go to Ivanovsky for a long time suggest that Ukraine put some reserves in to try and hold out. This seems to have failed as Russia has established a foothold and gotten a good amount of territory around the town as well.

Small bit of movement around Vremyevsky. Interesting Russia is doing things in the South at the same time as Robotyne is going on.
1708741006922.png

Not too much happening in Donetsk area today but there was a small bit of movement to the edge of Nevelskoye.

The second assault into Robotyne to try and secure a foothold seems to have failed unfortunately. The good news is that Russia has managed to entirely recapture the Surovikin line. Russia is probably going to have to surround Robotyne on three sides before it can take it. The silver lining to the failure to gain a foothold again is it means Ukraine is spending reserves to hold this place. Hopefully that leaves other places open to attacks.

There have been some movements to the North around Kremennaya . Nothing super major but a little bit of pressure is being applied and shaping attacks are taking place. There is likely to be more serious push sometime in the nearish future.

I wouldn't use Slavyangrad as a map source since I don't like the more animated maps because they don't have enough detail, but they were the only ones that made maps for the North. Though I can kind of see the appeal of the WW2 looking maps.

Even if this retard’s retarded assumption that America is full of “SJWs” who deeply care about Ukraine is true, how the fuck does he expect people who abhor guns, paternalistic authority, and getting off their phone for longer than half an hour to become any sort of effective militia. As long as they can goon to cartoons and eat pigslop no SJW is joining a militia, and their opposition to Putler conquering Ukraine will amount to a few whiny tweets about Trump. The guy genuinely thinks internet political spergs are representative of the real world and important, he lives in a larp fantasy.
these are people who have to take all sorts of meds for their anxiety. they're not drilling for shit. the only downside is that they have the government's backing. i expect a lone wolf or 3 to do commit violence while the fbi director goes on national tv asking "how do you jail a philosophy?"

(And I’ll bet you 100$ that instead of actually doing the work, the Pentagon will go along with whatever MIC snake oil salesman who comes up with an Uber fancy, overpriced “AI drone” with all the bells and whistles at the low, low price of 150.000$ a piece. Only the best for the US army, after all!)

yeah they've got expensive anti drone guns. i swear ive seen these things being talked about in the 2000s, in an episode of future weapons or something.

Jesus christ. Leftisk death squads will roam the streets and track down and murder the evil trumpers because some niggers fighting a different kind of niggers on the other side of the planet, and the wrong kind of nigger won?

Look, no one gives a shit. Real world is not the internet. Normal people care much more about how to deal with inflation and to feed their families than some retard niggers having a fight in some shithole on the other side of the planet.
Artschool Lord Buckethead clearly fails to comprehend most Americans enjoy generous stand-your ground, caste doctrine, and permitless carry laws precisely due in part to the fact the country has a history of extrajudicial lynchings.

Both side in Ukraine have them, but since they have limited range and require a visual, manual lock on the drone, I really don't see how they are any better than a shotgun.

Profit margin for MIC, sir. Profit margin.
A shotgun costs, what, a hundred bucks at wallmart?
These babies probably cost in the order of a hundred thousands each.

Pentagon Warns Ukraine Can’t Maintain U.S.-Supplied Arsenals: Weapons Shortages Continue to Worsen Article/Archive

Pentagon Inspector General Robert P. Storch has warned that the United States has not made plans or preparations to maintain, service or repair the tanks, armoured vehicles and air defence systems Washington has supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This failure to plan, he stated, “puts at risk Ukraine’s ability to fight effectively using the U.S.-provided equipment, as well as the DoD’s readiness to address other national security threats if needed.” The Inspector-General further revealed in two redacted reports, which cited inspectors warning that the Department of Defence “had not developed or implemented a plan” to maintain any of these assets, which they highlighted indicated weaponry likely could be sustained past October 2024. Maintenance was described in the reports as an “afterthought” as the Pentagon strongly prioritised arming Ukraine “as quickly as possible.” Inspectors were thus informed by an official with the U.S. Military’s European Command that “the current model would not be sustainable or effective over the longer term.”

Helluva job, Brownie (Bush 43 reference)

IMO jammer backpacks are the only actually effective personal protection against some suicide quadcopter
Such a thing is effective against remote control, but can be easily defeated by having the quad home in on the source of the jamming instead. You've gone from a drone having an ~80% chance to hit based on the skill of the operator, to 100% because the targets are now painting themselves.

Doesn't actually work that way
