Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

"A person close to Zelenskyy’s office" told Politicope the atmosphere in Zelenskyy’s office has been “quite grim" while NATO General Secretary still cannot wrap his mind around why Russia does not withdraw its troops and capitulate.

Standout bit;
Nobody could provide a precise roadmap for 2024, but all agreed that three fundamentals will determine the trajectory of the coming months:
  • First, this spring is about managing expectations as Ukraine won’t have the gear or the personnel to launch a significant counteroffensive.
  • Second, Russia, with the help of its allies, has secured artillery superiority and, together with relentless ground attacks, is pounding Ukrainian positions.
  • Third, without Western air defense and long-range missiles as well as artillery shells, Kyiv will struggle to mount a credible, sustained defense.
MUH OPTICS is priority #1 :story:

The west is so fucked.

20 year old car.
That timeframe more or less lines up with when a lot of manufacturers were experimenting with eco friendly shit like that. Mercedes Benz had a period in the mid 90's to early 2000's (IIRC) where they used some edible wiring insulation that attracted rodents like crazy and that's part of the reason so many Benzes of that time period have a ton of electrical issues.

That my understanding of the guy. Oryx takes him as gospel which means you should be suspicious of him from the outset
Oryx just uses photographically or government confirmed losses. A Russian whose name escapes me for sthe same but his counting is more conservative as Oryx will use the most grainy or out of focus pictures or videos for "probable" losses. Or something like the two ukrainian jets that crashed in training a few months ago. No pictures but Ukraine announced the loss and the deaths of the pilots.

Fighterbomber is almost certainly an ex or reservist RuAF member, he almost never criticizes the RuAF excepting their hilarious lack of HABs.
When did Krushchev disavow what he said in his memoirs?

Battle of Kursk, which is the official "Germany was fucked after this" point, was July 1943. Lend-Lease kicked into high gear in 1942.
Exactly. Lend Lease have the USSR hundreds of thousands of trucks, tens of thousands of tanks (including the Sherman which was well liked), and thousands of airplanes.

SEAD missions are pretty dangerous, but if cheap drones can do it, they might see a surge
Their range is too short. That vast majority of the drones you see in Ukraine, especially the FPV ones, have sub 3km ranges.

Larger SAMs that are emitting energy are 5+ km behind the Frontline, more like 10km for anything heavy.

Emissions control is extremely important for SAM sites as you don't want to be emitting for any extra time unless you're engaging a target.

Frontline AA are usually guns or IR guided systems.

New Navalny biopic out now.

Maybe they don't work so well in outdoor environments but they do look all shiny and fancy in the temperature controlled (and vermin suppressed) exhibition showroom.

This is what happens when building reliable but boring shit that actually works in the field is no longer the priority.

Wanted to post in the 1000th page. We got here way before the other thread, which means we are superior in all ways.

Also, the UAF has been thoroughly unable to organize after the retreat from Adviivka. They're losing ground left and right near there. Lastochkyne is being assailed from three different directions and will surely fall in a few days. Starting to believe that this was another Syrski special - a hasty, poorly planned retreat that resulted in thousands unnecessarily dead. I understand that they needed to get out of the city itself ASAP, sure, but I call into question the validity of even bothering to hold on to places like Lastochkyne when you're going to have to do it with troops who just had to run away however they could from a highway of death.

Plus the Russians captured the school at Robotyne, which is really the only building left there. It's a matter of time until all the giant gains of the summer counteroffensive are reversed.

Kh-25MP and Kh-58U

The Kh-15, Kh-22 and Kh-31 all had anti-radar variants also.

Oryx's one of best notable habits was/ is count an abandoned Russian tank as a loss, then count it again as a Russian loss when Ukrainians restore and use it in their formation and count it as a third Russian loss when it gets knocked out eventually.

Technically this cycle can continue indefinitely. The OSINT bro's quite frankly surpass WW2 German bullshit casualty accounting methods by a significant margin.

Things have really taken a turn for the worse after they replaced Z-gen. It is a tragedy with brother killing brother just to stroke the jew-dwarfs ego refusing to negotiate a peace deal.

I wonder if they will accident Z-gen at some stage. A lot of people and troops are surely associating everything turning to shit immediately after he was ousted and I can well see some thinking about couping him back into power.
Possibly Z-gen will need to be accidented so he is off the table for a future coup.

LONE U.S MERC PLANTS U.S FLAG IN DONBASS - fighting on the Russian side, a USAF veteran of Afghanistan says he hopes people at home will see it and understand.

"We have to stop this. I feel proud to be here....Look at independent facts. Do your own research, do your own homework....We have to support these people" he says about the people of Donbass (former East Ukraine.) Link

Judging from the comments while the sentiment is fine flying Old Glory wasn't well received. He should have used the Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia instead.
