The John Cena Onlyfans advertisement reminded me of this classic Polish song that I'm sure Jozue will like
Oh boy, Poland lore time!
This song was essentially a critique of artists in Poland after the fall of communism, where before they made music for the sake of self-expression, now they make it purely for money. Ironically enough, a few years later the frontman of the band, Kazik, would get pissy over people pirating his newest album, saying that one pirated copy = direct loss equivalent to the cost of the CD. You know, your usual BS.
There used to be a site called "Strata Kazika" (Kazik's Loss) that mocked it by letting you "steal" his album by adding to his loss number the equivalent of the CD. It was pretty based, but unfortunately the site went down and the domain got bought out by someone else. In the end, Kazik, for all his antisystem LARPing, is as much of a whore as the rest of the industry.
There was also this song that did a similar critique, the lyrics boil down to "I only make art/music for money".
Republika was another legendary new wave/post punk band, but unfortunately due to the death of the frontman, Grzegorz Ciechowski, they've officially disbanded in 2002. His solo work was also great.
