I don't know how long Cog's streams are. If they are as long as Ralph's sure. My point was mostly about the amount of streaming hours vs real world and how unsustainable that is. An hour a day + 6 hour over the weekend might work out better because people with money might have that much time to "invest" in subsidizing a broke streamer.

Ralph streams so fucking much for so long, you can't even fit the entire week worth of his shows in a weekend. Nobody cares to try because it's endless stream of fluff at best, but even if it was good content it's just too many hours for anybody.

Near impossible to sit through a 10 hour show, let alone rewatch a 10 hour show. I preferred the Killstream when it was 3 hours long with planned segments and guests that may or may not interact with the callers.

What we have now is Ralph stealing content with little commentary for hours straight. Sure, very occasionally you have him hollering and losing his mind for our entertainment but you can't do it for hours straight. You can't have planned segments with guests for hours straight too. He also went after his supporters including one who paid thousands to host him at California I believe.

So who would want to tune in into the show as it is now?

He’s like the beggars at the exit ramps. If he’s only out there with a sign for an hour he’s going to make $10, but if he stands outside all day with that sign he can get $80 out of pure pity and happenstance.

The strategy is to stream for hours to maximize the chances someone willing to throw $3 at him will pass through if the window is big enough. He will finally catch some guy bored in the bathroom or work that might take superchat pity on him.

Eight years ago he had an audience of under 30 men with disposable income and time on their hands he could count on. They were willing to tune in regularly during the evenings. 95% of those guys have moved on, have careers, families, better things to do. Ralph has lost the demographic he needs most, guys with lots of time and money to burn for entertainment. Other, younger game streamers have that audience now.

Now he just sits around hoping some bored dudes will eventually notice he’s live during a marathon stream and toss him a few pity bucks.
