Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

lol lmao even

I haven't been following your posts for long what in the world were you doing in Kiev? It seems like a bizarre place to visit at the moment
Summer holiday.

I wholeheartedly recommend Kiev. It’s a typical Eastern European city with a wonderful rich, Russian history. And you’d never guess there’s a war going on unless you read the papers.
You can stay at a five star hotel for 50$ a night, and even for 30$ a night you can find an excellent hotel that would go for hundreds of dollars in the US.

Unfortunately when I went, the Motherland statue, that triumph of Soviet engineering was closed “until the final victory”, as the young blonde chick in the ticket office said. I rather cheekily asked her “what if you lose?” which she answered with a seething “We WONT!”

(Much to my disappointment, what used to be a WWII history museum at the Motherland statue was turned into a quite ahistorical museum of hohol history. They still had all the Soviet tanks parked outside though. The jellyfish museum in Kiev is also a banger.

The metro kinda sucks though. When Russia wins, I’d recommend they rebuild that.

(And yes I do feel a little bad about posting money in the Zelensky gangs coffers. I’ll try to make up for it with a trip to Russia this year though.)

Why yes, it totally wasn’t the most obvious play that was telegraphed in Western media all year.

Look, I get its a tense situation but Good Lord at least have the dignity to go out like a man.
Looks like they have gotten too many propaganda lessons about Russians killing prisoners.

I’m sure it happens on a rare occasion when there is a particularly worthy candidate, but as that Russian soldier said in the other surrender video to an Azov officer: “Killing an unarmed prisoner isn’t in a Russian soldier’s vocabulary. You saved your life by surrendering you son of a bitch!”

When I was in Kiev in the summer, the cemeteries were so full, THAT THEY WERE PLANNING TO MOVE THE BODIES FROM AN OLD WW1 CEMETARY TO MAKE NEW FOR MORE DEAD.

At the same time they announced plans to build brand new record size cemeteries, since the existing were literally full.

This wasn’t Russian propaganda, it was in Ukrainian newspapers.

31.000 dead is such a hopelessly blatant lie.

Blood clot? Natural causes? I thought it was the KGB one punch heart bomb strike?!

Oh well, the Ukrainians must know what they’re talking about!
I have the pet theory that CIA got rid of him to add pressure to Putin and distract their vermin from the Avdiivka disaster
ukraine claiming the death was from natural causes confirms something is afoot

Fake glowie opposition leader gets a shot, doesn't feel good. Many such cases.

Guys, guys…

I (and a Ukrainian Telegram channel) found the sources for Zelensky’s numbers, and he actually WASN’T lying. At least technically.

The 30.000 dead are the official dead that they have had to make payments for to the remaining family.

On top of that there are 50.000 dead where the paperwork hasn’t yet been processed and around 90.000 “missing”.

So just a smudge under 200.000. These are apparently official Ukrainian numbers, but there’s often chaos in their bureaucracy, so the real numbers may be even higher.

Its been discovered what went wrong with the Great Ukrainian Counteroffensive of 2023. It was Russian spies. Zelensky has disclosed that the Russians had Ukraine's offensive plans on the table at the Kremlin before it even began.

So the Ukrainian Strategy for the Great Ukrainian Counteroffensive of 2024 is that they will prepare several different plans. Nobody will know which plan is the real plan.

No seeming awareness that the western media was anticipating and openly discussing Ukraines plans for a counteroffensive for months before it was launched or that the entire plan was completely obvious from the start. How could the Russian's ever have anticipated a Ukrainian offensive to the south in the direction of the sea of Azov.

Ukrainian Counteroffensive Plans Leaked to Russia

On a side note.....

Wow and it only took them 9 years to figure out something that was obvious from the start.
Hol up... you're telling me Assad DIDN'T gas his own people for literally no reason just to be a mustache-twirling villain???

Maybe by the year 2105 we'll find out what REALLY happened in Bucha.

New NYT piece dropped on how glowies are driving the US into a war with Russia.
The Spy War: How the C.I.A. Secretly Helps Ukraine Fight Putin (Archive)
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/02/25/...e-cia-secretly-helps-ukraine-fight-putin.html
Some pull quotes:
The underground bunker, built to replace the destroyed command center in the months after Russia’s invasion, is a secret nerve center of Ukraine’s military.
There is also one more secret: The base is almost fully financed, and partly equipped, by the C.I.A.
The details of this intelligence partnership, many of which are being disclosed by The New York Times for the first time, have been a closely guarded secret for a decade.
Mr. Putin has long blamed Western intelligence agencies for manipulating Kyiv and sowing anti-Russia sentiment in Ukraine.
Given whats in the article, Putins claims are valid.
The base in the forest grew to include a new command center and barracks, and swelled from 80 to 800 Ukrainian intelligence officers. Preventing Russia from interfering in future U.S. elections was a top C.I.A. priority during this period, and Ukrainian and American intelligence officers joined forces to probe the computer systems of Russia’s intelligence agencies to identify operatives trying to manipulate voters.
Hmmmm 🤔
After Mr. Putin launched the invasion on Feb. 24, 2022, the C.I.A. officers at the hotel were the only U.S. government presence on the ground. Every day at the hotel, they met with their Ukrainian contacts to pass information. The old handcuffs were off, and the Biden White House authorized spy agencies to provide intelligence support for lethal operations against Russian forces on Ukrainian soil.
The question that some Ukrainian intelligence officers are now asking their American counterparts — as Republicans in the House weigh whether to cut off billions of dollars in aid — is whether the C.I.A. will abandon them. “It happened in Afghanistan before and now it’s going to happen in Ukraine,” a senior Ukrainian officer said.
Well they're not wrong. The US intelligence community will up an go when they want to. They have no obligation to stay.
Apparently the CIA director William J. Burns has visited Ukraine 10 times and was there last week.
Referring to Mr. Burns’s visit to Kyiv last week, a C.I.A. official said, “We have demonstrated a clear commitment to Ukraine over many years and this visit was another strong signal that the U.S. commitment will continue.”
I found this to be horrifying, I wonder how much this whole operation cost on top of the congress money thats being grifted by them.

Imagine being so miserable you renege on the payments to the families of the deceased
