I thought the excuses here were more likely due to Nick doing the most abominable thing imaginable, and saying publicly that his wife's beauty was finished because her child bearing and rearing was like 8 atomic bombs to her body. That even though she's still thin and looks in shape, showing that she's a warrior despite it all, she's done for and there's nothing to salvage in regards to his cooming.
"Dear John..." is a close second, but it just can't compare to Nick all but saying verbatim, "I can't get anything out you anymore. I need to fuck younger, hotter women in more pristine condition."
Another factor could be Kayla's miscarriages in light of Nick's awful criticism of Kayla's body once she had carried her other babies to term. If Nick being publicly disrespectful to Kayla causes people to forget that she took the lead on a good portion of the more open degeneracy (or outright presume innocence) then things should work out well for her considering how antagonistic and gross Nick is.
Kayla publicly flirting with another man during her husband's livestream seems extremely disrespectful too, but only a handful seem to recall that as it was a month prior to Nick's "destroyed body" rant at the end of 2022. A lot of my initial
post was actually prior to that rant including Kayla constantly teasing Nick for "pretending" to be gay or Nick just being gay in general. In any case,
neither seem to respect each other publicly.
A lot of focus is on Nick in this thread, as it should be, but with all the sympathy Kayla gets one would think that people would take a harder look at her. Instead, people tend to defer to how "a wife" must feel in this situation rather than how Kayla feels (and acts), which would be fair if there was no information on her. Unfortunately, there is a good amount of info on her and when Kayla isn't being directly compared with Nick's gross behavior, it becomes apparent what a mess she is, why she's still married to him, and how she either refuses to deal with her problems, creates problems of her own, or relies on pity to get by.
Kayla's solution of increasing sex appeal (to an unhealthy degree) looks even worse when one remembers how often she seems to look for attention outside of her marriage. At this point it would be silly to think that Kayla is just trying to be a sexy monogamous wife and look her best just for Nick. Kayla's solution of slimming down, getting work done, publicly flirting with other men, and doing drugs at a swinger resort in Jamaica bodes ill and doesn't invite much sympathy on the face of it.
But she's married to Nick Rekieta. Can one really criticize her? Yes, because her decisions still impact her children and rather than deal with her problems head on through counselling or even divorce, Kayla decided to keep feeding her husband porn, slim down, get work done, approach/flirt with other men, and do drugs at a swinger resort in Jamaica and follow their staff on Instagram. That doesn't really scream "warrior" to me.... more like hotwife or an impending divorcée?
