Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

This is likely a report from people connected to western Intelligence. Don't completely trust it, and I've heard Ukraine killed their prisoners in Avdeevka before they retreated but it is an interesting suggestion. It suggests Avdeevka was the most Chaotic "retreat" that occurred and Avdeevka was more of a route than anything.

This isn’t the Middle Ages, you can’t just starve troops out of a city like that. They have guns, the civilians all have to starve first before the soldiers run out of food, and that’s just not the Russian way.
Are you sure it is not the Middle Ages? Putin does have a very medieval relationship with Kadyrov. No I'm just joking but I should clarify what I meant. I didn't elaborate because that post was long enough.

Surround a city with enough men and fortification to prevent the Ukrainians from being able to leave the city. This might seem like it requires a lot of men but if you can build strong enough fortifications it wouldn't. You can let food enter the city normally and other wise do nothing. You can just hold up the Ukrainian soldiers and ignore the city.

This also means you might get Ukraine to surrender without taking every major city which would be good because Russia wouldn't have to rebuilt them quite as much. As it currently stands Russia has to destroy every city they currently take.

The city density really does decrease quite a bit once you get out of the South and the Donbas making this at least theoretically possible.

Look, I get its a tense situation but good Lord at least have the dignity to go out like a man.
Eh people cry out for mercy when they die. I will not deny them that. Russian soldiers should kill the Mercenaries/Nationalist_Battalion members they find because the MoD will just trade them and do nothing to them if they don't. But I will not deny people the ability to cry out as they die.

NATO critters can say whatever inflamatory comments they want, it ain't fucking shit until the pentagon and US congress gives them greenlight
It’s in NATO’s bylaws that countries that have territorial disputes can’t be members. (For obvious reasons!)

So yeah… No membership to Ukraine for a VERY long time.

What a crying shame. I had the pleasure to visit that museum and go inside the motherland statue before it was bastardised.
Yeah… Banderas and OUN’s Nazi ties and war crimes weren’t mentioned at all, and they seriously tried to claim that Kievan Rus and the Rurik’s were the original Ukrainian ancestors.

It was a bizarre pseudo historic museum, and they even had to put a disclaimer on the entrance that “some may disagree” with their interpretation.

I remember Zelensgoy making claims to Russian territories such as Rostov and Krasnodar (amongst many). So unless i'm misunderstanding something, this would mean Ukraine can't ever be a nato member unless he gave up trying to "revive" the "ukrainianess" in those places (whatever the fuck that's supposed to be)

Part of what makes it a rout is that they didn't just lose the city. Despite reinforcing with an entire new rested brigade, they somehow managed to lose the chemical plant. Even if the city was completely lost, the next expected line of resistance should have been at the chemical plant which is a major fortress in its own right. The Russians in no position to even launch an attack on it had they intended to. They should have been able to form a very strong defensive line to the west of the city and held it.

The city was cut off and doomed at a certain point. But that doesn't explain the collapse at the chemical plant and really in the entire area west of the city beyond the Russian lines. There had to be a whole series of unplanned withdrawals from positions that were in no particular danger.

Iirc Finland gave some land to the USSR after the Moscow Armistice and they still claim it as rightful Finnish clay that must be returned, i'm not sure if they stopped doing that to get into NATO or if they are still claiming that despite being in NATO

limited by the rather small gauge of the British railways
It feels like half the problems with Britain end up involving the railways in some way or another, I guess when you're the first people building the things you're gonna make a bunch of dumb mistakes that all the other people get to learn from.

On a side note.....

Wow and it only took them 9 years to figure out something that was obvious from the start.

Another western lie just like the Albanian mass graves. Which ended up being mass graves of both Albanians and Serbs.
I used to have this idea that when I was proven right about some "conspiracy theory" the people who'd denied it to me would have to admit they were wrong. That youthful naivety has long since gone. One of the most fascinating things about "conspiracy theories" is how when something is proven there's this rapid (very rapid) shift from "that's not true" to "yes, everybody knows that / we always knew that". I've seen it multiple times and it's always jaw-dropping to me that people seem genuinely to believe this. It's like they have no internal store of knowledge on an event but outsource it entirely. If the external "source of truth" changes, there's no contradiction or dissonance because there's nothing for it to be in contradiction of. The truth was always external. The stuff inside the skull was just some local cache like files for a browser.

I think I've just had a realisation typing that. This is why they're able to switch so quickly - it really is just the concept of truth has been outsourced. Good God!

Typically Russian forces surround and leave an exit path. It's relatively easy to monitor and police a single path, allowing for civilians to leave. Along with any troops that wish to surrender. Would the Ukie soldiers really force civilians to remain in a blockaded city against their will?

Russians know that their state media lies to them. The ones that are naive think that "alternative" media somehow doesn't.
It is but you can still have your personal political opinion on things, like Yakow here, a self proclaimed "professional Jew":

Doesnt look like he is afraid of any repercussions in "Stalinist Russia". I m not living in Russia maybe the Russian Kiwis know better, but basically anywhere you can talk shit about your government as long as you are not organizing any sort of "movement" or protest.

None of us really know how we will behave when we believe we are about to die, nor do we know what has led up to this clip we see - prolonged situations of danger and extreme tension break people down.
Nonsense.

Attached is an artist depiction of the 26 Kiwifarmers facing a tranny firing squad following Trumps ‘24 victory.

The guy in the white shirt on the far right, baring his chest and taunting the troons to shoot straight is me.

No one forced that merc to fight. He went willingly and on his own. Did he think he was invincible? Untouchable? Beyond the reach of death? Should have stayed home then.

Death will find us all, one way or another. Crying won't stop it from happening, might as well be a man about it.

Given whats in the article, Putins claims are valid.

Kinda sounds like this secret base shouldn’t be that hard to localize.

“Nestled in a dense forest, the Ukrainian military base appears abandoned and destroyed, its command center a burned-out husk, a casualty of a Russian missile barrage early in the war.
But that is above ground.
Not far away, a discreet passageway descends to a subterranean bunker where teams of Ukrainian soldiers”

So it’s somewhere in the Lvov area near the secret Soviet command center that was taken out early in the war.

“At the underground bunker, General Dvoretskiy said a German antiaircraft system now defends against Russian attacks. An air-filtration system guards against chemical weapons and a dedicated power system is available, if the power grid goes down.”

That bit of information should also be helpful. A base like that must also emit a helluva lot of EV signals.

So it shouldn’t be that hard to find, though the Russians may want to wait until they REALLY want to send a signal.

The CIA and FSB is still talking, and I remember reading that there are some ground rules in place. Stuff like “don’t do assassinations”.

Seems that most of the Europeans and Yanks have gone home now that they realized it’s not a pot shot like in Afghanistan.

Many of the mercs still left are from South America and are lured with promises of a huge paycheck and “training jobs in the rear”.

When they realize they’re canon fodder, it’s too late.

Life is even cheaper there than in current day Ukraine. They knew what they were getting into. No sympathy.
