I don’t know who this dude is you’re talking about, but I do know that many plastic surgery centres have ORs on site with overnight stay rooms that look nothing like hospital wards. That being said, from what I’ve seen posted here in Stinkditch, MtF bottom surgery is a multi day hospital stay (plus extra time in a hotel for recovery if a non-local patient) so wouldn’t be performed outside of a mainstream hospital.

I’ve been wondering if I should change my deathpool selection from J to Evie, but with this news I’ll stick with J for now. I don’t even understand what J thinks she’ll get from a double mastectomy. She’s fat AF, so having a hollowed out chest will just make her look even more hideous than she looks already, and she’d still need a penis to complete her transformation to pretend man, which I can’t see her living long enough to get, and even if she does, she’ll only ever be able to see it in a mirror.

Corissa has claimed that she doesn't drink alcohol or smoke weed; she's said she was a drunk, and got sober. I'm inclined to believe her because she's been consistent on that point and I've seen no signs of booze or weed consumption in any of her—or Juliana's—pics. I don't even think Juliana drinks.

Eh, if she's working enough hours, she's got health insurance through the university. Her pay might suck, but usually government entities offer pretty good benefits.

For all we know, she got approved by the gender clinic at the university. If she did, her costs would probably be pretty damn low, maybe even close to free, because "employee benefit", "diversity", "insert stupid HR codeword here".

As amazing as that would be it is unlikely: Sidhdbhbhb (I call her Dr. Sneed) does not take any insurance, which rules out Juliana being able to afford it. I'm not even sure she could afford to visit Sneed's clinic in Miami since she is a low-level secretary with horrifically bad credit.

For non-Americans: Doctors refusing to take insurance is legal but unusual because the larger patient volume that comes from taking insurance will usually more than offset the time + money spent dealing with insurance companies. This goes double when the people most likely to be uninsured are poor - there is not an untapped market (at least, not a large one) for patients willing and able to pay out-of-pocket like this.
