I agree with this but I also think that "The worst day of my life." was the catalyzing reason for him doing fully giving in. Keep in mind he and Kayla had faced numerous miscarriages at this point, so I think even a fallout with inlaws or family can be precluded from being what was the reason.

The only thing that makes sense is something between he and Kayla, and given the Faran leaks, and his "I will be us" tattoo, it points to her wanting to open their marriage. Remember that it took him a couple of weeks of "Having a hard choice to make." which he stated repeatedly after said day, until the "Fuck it! Mandy if you come to Anime Matsuri I will sign your tits." If you go back and watch that stream I think that was the moment he made the choice to swing. I think the "Fuck it" was him talking to himself.

So while I think all those traits were there, and being kept in check. I think that her wanting to open the marriage was what made him stop caring about keeping them in check. This is and always has been how I viewed the events, even before the Faran leaks. It just makes too much sense in light of everything else, especially given the timeline.
Could be this or anything else. We can only speculate. The hatred he's expressed towards his wife and children in the last year at times has made me wonder if he found out one or more of the "brood" wasn't his. I could more readily believe that she had a one-off fling than that she would be the one pushing for the "swinging." But there's no real proof for that either. It's just one more narrative that can be construed from the facts that we know.

Edit:
A Brief History of Kayla Rekieta (in this thread)
Damn. I missed out on a lot of this when I tuned out after Weeb Wars. The evidence for Kayla being the prime degenerate in the relationship is certainly there.

He's definitely on pills of some kind. What a loser lmao
He deserves all of this though, the loss of income and the criticism, the issues in his personal life.

The only ones undeserving are his children. It's a shame that their father is setting such an example for them.
I remember he used to openly bask in the power of provigil. He did some sort of 24/hr stream while on the stuff.
That's not really what provigil/modafinil is supposed to be used for. Has he mentioned it in recent years? Since I remember him openly abusing it, it's almost definitely already been discussed in the 3000+ pages of this thread.

I wonder what the drug addicts on reddit have to say about moda + booze:

Modafinil and Drinking Alcohol

If you're finding this on your google search, listen to what I'm saying.

I did my own google searches; read everything and thought it'd be like taking an aderall. It is not.

Modafinil on its own makes your confidence levels go up, at least for me and everyone else ive talked to. Drinking alcohol makes your confidence levels go up as everyone knows.

Modafinil + Alcohol = Supreme Drunk Asshole that thinks they own the world. The girls aren't a fan, no ones a fan.

Just don't do it. I ended up in the ER from a modafinil fueled weekend. It was not from a heart attack but from me and 4 of my friends thinking we were WWE wrestlers. Just don't do it.
Nah, been doing it for years. Confidence does not mean you loose your empathy.

Most drugs acts as a catalyst/enhancer. If your an empathic person it will just boost your empathy, and confidence
I guess I secretly own the world. Every person I know who's tried it, say the same thing about it.

What kind of modafinil are you taking?

I'm talking about waklert
I used to love this combo but it is so bad for your body. The combo alone already puts way more strain on your liver but it also allows you to drink more, putting more strain on your liver etc.

That said if you are looking for a coke/MDMA alternative for the night its not a bad option. It definitely allows you to stay up all night, even if you take it in the morning

modafinil and drinking

My physician told me I could drink the night 12 hours after taking modafinil, but could not take modafinil the day after drinking. Has anyone gotten different advice?
I absolutely had the worst experience with modafinil and alcohol, compared to every other medication I have ever taken with alcohol.

The things I have noticed: I got really bratty, confident, big talker and a show off I don't know how to explain it but just way to confident.

I got wasted a lot faster

I got genuinely depressed and my mood went absolutely downhill after some hours for no reason at all.

Every of these three symptoms happend everytime as soon as I mixed modafinil and alcohol.
When I drink alcohol with modafinil on, it's hard for me to get drunk. I can drink a lot without feeling drunk. The next day, the hangover is horrible but modafinil ease it out.

My doctor also asked me to don't mix modafinil and alcohol. Honestly, I think you should trust your doctor instead of some randoms in reddit
Try it out first, but slowly. It can make you feel, “not drunk” and you can over do it. There is a sweet spot IMO, and when you find it, you’ll like it. To add, it can/will also make you not want to drink alcohol at all for some reason.

Alcohol and Modafinil

So basically I want to go out drinking but this morning I took a 200mg modafinil at about 10am. I was assuming I wouldn't be able to drink alcohol but thought it worth asking as I took it over 8 hours ago.
Couple of things here for you to consider based on research and personal experience, respectively:

  1. Risk of black-out. You will be able to finish huge quantities of alcohol which will only fuel feelings of deceitful sobered invincibility, thereby making you drink more and more until you pass out.
  2. 10am is a bit late in the morning to take a dose of 200mg of Modafinal. Kept me awake that entire night with my mind succumbing to sleep at 4am. There was an awkward silence when I walked into work 2 hours late.
Trial and error is often the best way to learn with pills, test how your body not just accepts it, but the milligrams and times taken and how you react to it, to propel the highest positive output possible in order to bring out the best in you.

Drinking alcohol on Modafinil

Hey there, just felt like sharing my recent experience with Modafinil and drinking alcohol, maybe you can share your experience, if it works the same way it did for me. Still pretty new to Modafinil.
So, yesterday I couldnt fall asleep because I decided the day before that it is a good idea to take a nap afternoon which resulted into 5 hours of sleep. So it was half past 3 and I couldnt sleep, which kinda sucked because it was 31st and I wanted to enjoy it.
So I took 100mg of Moda. Played Xbox for a while, than started to feel a bit sleepy, so I actually felt asleep and slept for aroune 4 hours.
Now lets skip to like 3PM, already started drinking. I have started to notice the alcohol doesnt seem to affect me much, my tolerance was pretty much increased. So I have drank almost whole bottle of whiskey on my own without even really feeling it, obviously I was drunk but my mind was very clear, etc. Didnt feel sleepy at all.
At 4AM I felt asleep, slept for 3 hours to wake up feeling fuckin wasted and I could barely move.

Interesting experience.
You should not drink. Sounds like you might be better off in life not drinking.
Ok I don't know how to copy nested comments but look at this last one:

rackets tier attitude on this moda boozer
There are hundreds more threads you can find by searching "modafanil alchohol reddit", and a common consensus is that for people who can tolerate it, it causes extreme arrogance. Also you can down twice as much drinks but not notice you are buzzed and then suddenly black out and slam your head on something.

The two together are dangerously dehydrating, and damage the liver twice as fast.

Looks like she spent 3 years (3.5 tops), and then years later somehow got a b.s. at a community college. (In WIlmar and Hutchinson, aka local to where they live now.) Maybe she dropped out because she was committed to the SAHM stuff, and decided to complete her degree to help with the home schooling they were deciding on probably even then. But... yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if she spent more time on pursuits other than academic at SWMSU.

She appears to have been a year later than Nick and exited college when he graduated. They moved in together into her cheap off-campus place. Then they moved to the Minneapolis area to likely live with his parents until around the time of the marriage when Nick's parents seem to have put them in a big house of their own. It used to be known as the MRS degree.

Her later community college degree was related directly IMO to her doing the homeschooling.

Somewhere in the last year, I did a whole writeup on their previous addresses which has more complete info on this.

This has probably been mentioned before, but is it possible that Nick's issue is that he's gay and regrets marrying/having a family for that reason? I'm not a former watcher of his so maybe I am off base but that is the impression I'm starting to get as I'm getting caught up on his content coverage. He seems to discuss and think about men way more often than women. His main problem is still that he's a narc, but I guess being trapped in the closet with a beard wife and family could get you drinking. I'd definitely go as far as to say I think he's gay and not bi.

I guess my question as not a veteran of this thread is: is the above theory the prevailing one about Nick's decline?

I'd agree with this if it hadn't been for Hedonism 2 followed by the Faran leaks. The Faran leaks are way too overlooked, still hearsay, but we also have 0 reason to doubt it.

It is, but modern adderall is very hard to tweak on, most of the time it just results in being more alert or being slightly hyper, and conversely, adderall withdrawal is known to cause extreme fatigue and depression.

The meme is adderall is just legal meth. But the only major thing is that too high of a dose can make it close to impossible to fall asleep.

College students like to use it because it makes them stay up all weekend to study without sleep
It's incredibly easy to abuse, especially when taken in conjunction with alcohol, it's not known as a party drug for no reason. If you take too much of it, you will die. I wouldn't know how it compares to meth, but it would be a Licketa-tier mistake to handwave the drug as something college kids just take to stay awake and study more on.

But, how dare you not use dark mode.
All light mode screenshots are from my PC browser and not my phone. Often that's when I'm at home at the computer and the notification shows up on my watch. For some reason I couldn't find a dark theme on their gay new "beta.locals.coom" UI, idk if it's not implemented on the new front or I'm just retarded.
Thanks for carrying the torch
But of course, I love getting a chance to prod at Nick for no-showing. Tracking when he does is my passion hobby, after all.

Nick used to say that he hardly ever takes his “narcolepsy” medication but has frequently mentioned having to get refills, such as complaining of the cost, pharmacy inconveniences, & now having to do labs in order to get refills. Either he was taking it more than he claimed or, he really wasn’t taking it except on rare occasions & has years of refills saved up that he’s now blazing through at a higher than prescribed rate.

Nick claimed for a while that he only took it while driving.

However, he recently admitted he'd been taking it more often.

The claim about only taking it while driving is false anyway. In the infamous "Oh, Mandy" Localsstream from 2022, Nick admitted he takes Provigil it at right before going to bed, the goal being that its effects will kick in shortly while Nick is asleep and he will wake up after about two hours. I am guessing that this is not how it is meant to be taken.

He claims that he doesn't like mixing drinking and modafinil because he had a bad experience at an event, I think this is the one where he went back to his hotel room and took pictures in the bathtub or something to send to Dick Masterson fan groups to own Maddox.

Interesting quote:
Barbara Sahakian, a professor at the University of Cambridge, cautioned that while business executives generally use modafinil on specific occasions, students are prone to keep using modafinil as its effects wear off. This completely disrupts their natural, and necessary, sleep patterns. Long-term users reported feeling “neither asleep nor awake,” similar to those associated with long-term cocaine use. Sahakian also posited that students take modafinil for some basic reasons: academic excellence, competition, recreation and peer pressure.
