Just a reminder for people that this room is inhabited by this:

There's also been suggestions going around online that he may have had something to do with the death of his mother by continuing to buy her cigarettes while she was pretty much immobile and on an oxygen tank because of her poor health and smoking. If I remember correctly she went to the hospital because she was smoking while using her oxygen tank and it started a fire and she died in the hospital not long after. I don't know for sure one way or the other if this is true but here's a meme of it I found online as a bonus.
He’s talked about this. That’s what she wanted to do so he let her. He talked about trying to make her stop. Caring for the elderly is hard. Don’t do it you have to live with thrm not liking you as a result. Do do it she could blow up if silly.

"Eats away at my social battery" nigga please, just go outside :story: you have the money to travel the world 5 times over there is literally no excuse.

Do twitch streamers not realize how much they tell on themselves? Saying shit like this doesn't paint a sympathetic picture it just exposes how much of a pathetic deadbeat loser they really are. In a perfect society these niggers would be cracked up junkies in the streets but no instead we get "influencers".

Streaming being a career is such a joke.

If my mother was barely able to move and on an oxygen tank to survive and I was her only source of possibly getting cigarettes I would not buy her cigarettes. She can be pissed at me all she wants. If she wants to smoke so bad she can get better, regain her mobility and go to the store herself to buy them. Again, I don't know for certain if his actions are what led to her death or not but that's what I would do in that situation.

There are people that have to get up at the break of dawn and work 15+ hours a day, sometimes with no breaks. People who take care of family members with debilitating health problems, people who work 2+ jobs just to make ends meet and feed their children, people who have to physically and mentally push themselves to their limits to do their jobs, and people who suffer from awful mental health issues and stress related illnesses.

But no, some ugly millionaires sitting around, eating take out and complaining about society while people throw thousands of dollars at them, who if they stopped streaming and retired would be able to live out their lives in complete comfort and stability have it worse off than your average working class.

Wow. I'm so glad to have these rich stream goblins teach me the truth of the world. Everything I knew about work was wrong. I'm glad that I have to desperately fight off homelessness and pay my bills with what meager money I make after I'm fucked in the ass by taxes because at least I'm not a streamer. Hoooo boy those guys have it way worse than me.

lmao.PNG

They’d need a couple thousand iirc.
Are we talking subs or paypigs? because I meant the former.

Dunno, how hard is to herd paypigs in a recession? seems to me like most people are too cheap to actually pay. Probably from my experience at startups, you wouldn't believe how hard is to get anyone to pay for an app they use everyday, freemium ruined the market...
Problem with most people is they want to try and make it big but are unwilling to put in constant effort
By effort you mean streaming 8-9 hours a day? that's it? or are we talking actual production values which neither of these guys have?

What you mean by "to set things up right" exactly? having a live chat? a discord server? or more complex stuff like proper streaming hardware?
You don’t just make one video and boom instant sucsess.
I mean that's the case with everything, you wouldn't believe the amount of half-assed wantrepreneurs there are out there.
Even at my lowest point my house was never a disgusting pigsty like this. How the fuck can't this guy afford a maid to clean that shithole? all it would take is like 30 minutes a day, does he stream 24/7 or what?

Let alone that room, how much money is he making again? can't pay a contractor to renovate that early 80's looking room? change that chintzy popcorn ceiling? not talking about a fuckboy RGB cave just make it look decent ffs...
You didn't show the best part: The "I wipe blood (and potentially shit) on my wall because I'm a special boy and can't use tissues" wall next to his bed.

Pictures you can SMELL...

Why did he share this anyway?

Fuck am I going to defend another lowlife streamer? Guess so. Collecting all the stickers.

There are a million things wrong with asmongold, but not the relationship with his parents. He obviously cared for them and they obviously cared for him. He took her to the hospitals. He got her into WOW. Social and family relationships is like the only thing that the stinky goblinking that never washes does right.

Hasan is estimated to earn between 1 and 1.5 million usd a year

at the lowest number that is

5 times more than deep saturation divers

8 times more than an air traffic controller

9-10 times more than an undercover police officer.

these are jobs where if you make a mistake you can cause the deaths of several people.
My dad was a master electrician and most days he had to crawl through rat shit infested fiberglass, cow shit and asbestos while carrying a 130lb pack and didn't even make a sixth of that. Ended up killing him, and no, he didn't get to stream retarded opinions every day because he didn't have time or energy to read the news.
If there were annual public beatings for the streamers it might be a hard job.
These same streamers refuse to talk to the help they hire to clean up their jarate and fast food wrappers.

I'm now fairly sure that he didn't have anything to do with his mothers death. I get the idea of "you can't change someone for them" but I stand by my statement that I wouldn't buy cigarettes for anyone. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy that could essentially indirectly kill someone and be able to live with himself. He's still a disgusting trash-goblin with redditor opinions that no one should respect or look up to, but that seems to be about it. Thanks for digging up a couple of videos on the topic.

I was talking bout subs. It seriously does not take that much.
Dunno, how hard is to herd paypigs in a recession? seems to me like most people are too cheap to actually pay.
Easier than you’d think. Most fans want to pay the streamers somehow. Hard part is getting the viewers. The money is the easy part honestly.
By effort you mean streaming 8-9 hours a day? that's it? or are we talking actual production values which neither of these guys have?
I mean streaming 3-9 hours a week every week. Yes. Clipping content for clips and segmenting videos for youtube uploads would probably also help.

Asmon did years of YT videos before moving into streaming for instance, it’s why he had such a big viewer base already. When he decided to make money streaming the viewerbase was already there.

And with how vids and clips on youtube can blow up now, having your own channels for them helps you get money way quicker.
What you mean by "to set things up right" exactly? having a live chat? a discord server? or more complex stuff like proper streaming hardware?
What I mean is a production process. A process by which you can produce lets say one stanalone vid a week, one 3 hour stream and then edit the stream into segments and clips for upload on YT in the least amount of time.

It often takes a while for people to figure that out or to hire an editor to do it for them.

Most people aren’t willing to sit down, work a process out and stick with it.

Heck even so much as keeping a consustant schedule of when they are going to stream or upload some people find hard.

tx for the archiving.

Taking care of my old decrepit old man showed me how quickly I had to throw out my lofty ideas of taking care of him well. If he'd ask me for cigarettes now I'd lighy them for him. It's already hard enough for a parent to have to receive the most basic of help, where they won't ask you to bring over the remote because they don't want to bother you and shit. Let them have their last few death's row meals of whatever vice they have.

About Hasan I have to ask: how do people here manage to watch him besides the very occasional ragebait clip like the one that got featured? This place often has fans that aren't fans anymore and I genuinely wish to see the perspective of a fan or former fan. What drew you to Hasan?

"Working a 9-5 would be easy"
"Only suckers work a 9-5 job"

Hasan's mentor DSP
I’ve been kicking that idea around my head occasionally over the last couple weeks. Hasan is basically the breadtube/tankie version of DSP, only he actually makes money.

He is just teeming with that same “I did nothing wrong, I did everything right, it’s always someone else who screws me over, it’s never my fault” attitude. Only this faggot doesn’t have to beg for donations or paid subs, he just gets showered in money for being an annoying little nepobaby with the “correct” opinions.

"Professional streaming" seems to do something to peoples brains that just fucks them up. Either that or they were always fucked up and now we just see them more often due to streaming. Probably the latter.
Not even exclusive to big streamers, if anything the churn for mid-sized and smaller streamers is where the real brain rot is. You know, the five to ten viewer Andy's that somehow maintain a stagnant viewer base for years on end and call it a success because If Hasan can do it, surely I can can make it too!

It really does do something bizarre to people in a insidious, pervasive way over time if there's no discipline in the streamer. If not careful eventually everything gets filtered through streamer brain, from friendships to grudgingly meting out time in meatspace before plugging back in for a parasocial injection session. Anecdotally, got a buddy big into streaming I keep tabs on, last I heard his socially awkward kid wants to be a streamer just like his daddums and his marriage is starting to strain; stream must go on nonetheless.

But hey, if Hasan can do it...
