uh say what brings you to the conference
what what made you come

sure uh so my name is Sierra
I go by uh Exel anzic on
social media uh what brought me to this
conference is that I've been interested
in this topic for a few years now um I I
previously identified as trans and then
kind of fell out of it for several years
and then started making video content
reacting to the current situation uh
politically and and medically uh and so
I came here in order to to network see
the other leading lights in the field
and and just to to um see what I could
learn and what I could contribute and
I've

I've followed your videos you
you've done an extraordinary amount of
work on I am Jazz do you want to tell
people how to sometimes it's hard to
find it so if you could tell people how
to find you little censored

uh so I my work can be found um

I additionally post essays including
literature reviews um and then other other
uh thoughts I have on uh long-term medical
implications of what's what's happening um

the IM Jazz response in particular is
following the story of a a trans kid
named Jazz Jennings who was transitioned
on national television and is suffering
the medical complications of that to
this day and while we're on that subject
how do you think the story of jazz is
going to pan out

it's it's very scary to contemplate
you know it's uh so much will rest in
jazz and I really believe in jazz I
think that jazz as uh can survive this
um but the odds are very much stacked
against him because he will be in
long-term pain and he will slowly come
to terms with what he's lost what has
been taken from him and and the other
consequences of the fact that they
disrupted his healthy normal brain
development from the time he was an
adolescent uh as as well as as deranged
it in other ways with with other active
drugs and uh surgeries and so he's now
had at least three of surgeries
including two revisions on his his
genitalia and he's uh reported lack of
sexual functioning and they they
speculated that perhaps he's even
asexual which is you know what do you
expect his surgeon Dr Marcy Bowers that
said that that's typical for children
going through this so it it it could it
could end with him becoming an advocate
against this sort of treatment uh it
could also end end horribly you know D D
David Rymer and his brother also uh
tragically ended their lives so I I
really I'm reading for Jaz I really
think that he he is a strong person he
can do it I am too I I really feel what
a young kid and got wrapped and roped up
into something like a tragedy walking
talking tragedy it's been very sad to
watch

could we turn to the conference
what uh what have you enjoyed or who are
you looking forward to listening to oh

I've I've really enjoyed every speaker
that's come up I feel like it's been a a
different angle on things um it's
expanded my horizons I can kind of get
Tunnel Vision on the stuff I'm
interested in um so it's it's given me
all these ideas for other other things
that I should look at when I go home and
and return to my my content uh creation
especially the stuff about the history
of it um uh I I'm forgetting her name um
but she talked about how um sometimes in
science it can be just Co a matter of
coincidence that that causes major
shifts happening um I think she came on
yesterday um I'm trying to remember her
name I'm trying to think too um but but
I thought that was a really fascinating
take because uh it's it's it's easy to
think that that this was all by some
Grand Design but then you realize that
that you is science there a lot of
people who are generally trying to do
the right thing but but can be caught up
in these larger movements um

it might have been Denise from fourth wave now
maybe that's possible

yeah um I was um I

I I'd like to ask you how do
you think gender will pan out over the
next five years

I'm I'm really hopeful that we're
we're nearing a Breaking Point uh with
with some of these these countries
coming out and saying you know this is
actually actually not evidentiary
supported uh I think it's going to be a
major election issue next year um in the
US uh presidentially and um I'm I'm just
hopeful that that with the internet um
the the the speed at which uh knowledge
of the harms of these interventions can
diffuse into the general awareness that
that will be sped up relative to
something like frontal labotomy um and
and so we won't have to wait decades for
this this night I mean I guess we've
already in a sense been waiting decades
but I do feel it's coming to a head so
I'm hopeful that in 5 years it'll be
we'll have moved on to something else
God knows what um I

one last question
which is what do you think we as a
movement and it's a loose Movement we
don't agree on everything but as a
movement who are trying to get this
gender ideology kind of message out what
do you think we need to do more of to
get the message out

I I think so much of it needs to be
um a a hard discussion of of of the fact
that we are physically constrained
calling out the religious element of the
ideology ology of of of this idea that
that you can have Divine knowledge of of
what you should have been or what your
life would have been like if it had been
different from the life you're having
now you know it's one thing to come to
terms of trauma um that that you
experience but I I I think that we need
to really talk about the fact that that
life is full of traumas and we can get
past it and we don't need to get bogged
down and what we think is the only
solution to our pain because sometimes
when you're in the most pain you're the
least able to reason about your pain
effectively and and if we all just
affirm that yes your conclusion about
your pain is automatically corrected you
should cause yourself more pain and take
on more risks because you're doomed I I
think that's a very very uh pessimistic
Outlook and so I think if we just just
encourage people and say we will accept
you no matter what but let's let's
challenge some of these ideas you've
come to these conclusions you've come to
that that we can do a lot of good I
think a lot people are scared of being
pushed out and so we just need to accept

Who is to stay how much being "NB" had an effect on how Nex acted in school and that she at all bothered anyone with it to the point of physical altercations. We'll probably never know for sure unless the girls that fought her talk about it. There are far more severe cases of loony troonies being criminally whacko to use as examples. Sierra definitely has an issue with grabbing on to anything that catches her notice and refusing to let it go. Especially if it's something that no one else has noticed or is going on about. I think that's part of what she think makes her different and unique and intelligent. But sometimes the reason no one is going on about a specific thing is because it's wrong, unimportant, or a non-issue. Nex/Dagny didn't know these girls... Which is why I believe that didn't have anything to do with her being non-binary. They made fun of her and her friends about the way they dress or/and laughed. Or at least that's how she interpreted it. I say this because I have a family member who has the tendency to thing that when someone laughs about something or say something this is about her, even when it doesn't, so I believe it's a possibility. Anyway, it doesn't seem to be about her gender identity and she never suggested it in the conversation with the cop or in the conversation via WhatsApp that was published to the public.
