Apparently, back in 2018, glip had made some posts in Discord about how Marl was "freaked out" because JK took pictures of herself fucking her dog and sent them to him, and evidently did the same to glip, but then later turned around and claimed the pictures she took were staged. this is why its important for when people monitor their kids online activity to not do it in a way that'll totally invade their privacy, and for your kid to know you wont get mad at them for something out of their control. if they feel like they have privacy, they're less likely to hide stuff from you, and the trust built means they'll naturally tell you when they think something is wrong.
i know people who tried going to their parents as kids when they found something that disturbed them online, only to get in shit despite it being out of their control. it's fucked up, and an area that lots of parents def don't know how to handle. I feel like Glip and her cronies def take advantage of the fact that they know the minors in their vacinity will hide things from their parents instinctively.

I don't want to paint the families of these damaged minors as being bad people, though. Puberty is hard, being a teenager is hard, and being mentally ill on top of that is even more difficult. Adult jokes in kid's media are kind of over-emphazised nowadays, they did exist but where mostly brushed off as they never overstayed their welcome and where less than a couple frames in, on top of that most of them simply went over the kid's heads while the adults got a shuckle out of it.
In the same spirit i imagine this part is dedicated at pointing out how the main character reads shitty fanfic smut and introducing Amdusias and Orobas but that takes the backseat almost instantly.
Ren&Stimpy and Rocko's modern life did go into this kind of shit so its not like kid's networks never aired implied or straight up lewd scenarios but what i think its over the line here is what is being depicted:

Its just sketchy lines and barely visible but this would not fly at all in any sort of kid's media.
Raunchy anime sure but not western stuff, big ass and titties have appeared often in kid's cartoons but i don't think 2 characters fucking as explicitly as this has ever been shown at least as far as i know.
Granted its a very minor thing not really a reason to get the pitchforks and torches but considering what was going on at the time, the promise of keeping the porn separate and how they at least initially where pushing an all ages branding i couldn't help but notice.
