I listened to the Snowflake doc today and when he briefly mentioned her vegan phase, I thought about the good old days of her insane diet phases. But how insane were the Nader/post-Nader days and especially the CPAP rescue and rage driving to the police station only to back down. It's difficult to decide which Foodie to be more nostalgic for. laughing is one thing, but i don't think that's the vibe for a lot of reaction channels including snowflake's recent shit, from what i have seen. i could very well be wrong, i admit i haven't seen much of him or watched it.

Most of the reactor community forgot that their only job is to entertain. tato fairy, I 100% agree with you. Time is an interesting concept for Chins. She lives in the past; her stories rarely go past high school and are about food or how terrible people are. At the same time, nothing in the past counts and calling her on her past actions is bad. Of course, all she ever does is call out people for their past.

Her cat’s age was interesting. During the time she was trying to justify putting BBJ in a woodchipper, the cat went from 16 to 17 to 18 to 20 in just a couple videos, and sometimes age would jump between sentences. She’s doing it again with the idea that she cheated on Bibi 20 years ago. Things that happened two years ago are a lifetime ago, but things that happened 25 years ago are a present memory. There is probably some pathology in line with this but heck if I know what it is.

I hated Jen’s video by Snowflake (well, the one episode I saw) so wasn’t going to watch this. (He didn’t know the Jen lore or what a terrible person she really was.) However, I did watch today because I knew Chantal would react. It is pretty clear to me he was going to make a fairly sympathetic portrayal of Chantal like Jen’s, until Chins lost it on him. We saw the original beginning but then he changed styles as he realized she wasn’t a sympathetic character and couldn’t be made into one. It ended up mostly that was trolling Chantal, nothing new for us and he was talking directly to her. I’m not sure why he wants to do more, (unless it makes him money I suppose.) I don’t think people who haven’t been watching her from the beginning can really capture her. (Not that they care). Gay shoulders dude did the best job I’ve seen, tbh.

Chantal’s face is truly becoming alarming. Is this lymphedema? Jen had it on her upper body and face too, but it was nowhere near as uneven and disproportionate as Chantal’s. Whether she can see or not is a mystery-I suspect she mostly can but if her optic nerve has pressure and swelling around it, maybe she really can’t. I truly thought this was a filter+facespanx illusion, but now I think it’s real. And terrifying. I know LVHF can also cause terrible swelling but I thought in extremities. But maybe face too. Girl needs some Lasix to get rid of liquids but with the amount of sodium she eats she’d probably have a heart attack.

I think reactors are fun, just like gunt, it's pure entertainment to see her rage and her life turn more miserable by her own actions. Reactors add an element like many past trashy reality tv shows did but can't do now, community- albeit a really autistic, fucked community.

I will say however, I find it odd how many reactors to Chantal/ALR/Other deathfats were originally their supporters/paying members then turn on them. I don't blame them really because they're all terrible disgsuting people but yeah.

These people do not understand that other people are also human beings with separate experiences or emotions. In Gunt world there is only Gunt and people are but extensions of herself. She lacks empathy and compassion so she doesn't understand how her actions or words influences others. If she thinks something she does is not that bad, she thinks the same is true for other people. Blinking is misery.
My eyelids were almost swollen shut yesterday.
The swelling seems to shift around by the hour.
When I woke up this morning, it was especially on the inner sides, up against the nose.
It is so swollen that it forms a vertical line of puffiness.

Chantal didn't want the Sam's Bar Lounge videos released when they were first coming out in late spring 2022. She claimed they were "triggering" for her, despite them not featuring her and despite nobody forcing her to watch that shit. In retrospect, she probably didn't want yet another reason for people to give her shit if she got back with Nader (again). In her twisted mind, it also probably pissed her off that there was no evidence of her "abuse" while there was of DD. Funny, now she cites SBL when she claims Nader was being abusive towards her.

Despite what she claims today, she was never a victim of anybody but herself. There was never a time in the Nader saga when he had any leverage over her. They didn't have kids. They weren't married. They didn't share a business, assets, mortgage or even a lease. If anything, Salah has a lot more potential to abuse her right now than the crackhead ever did. I have no doubts that Nader wanted the money and attention, but it takes two to tango. She will cry about "victim shaming", but it was absolutely nobody else's fault she stuck around for over a year. You don't park your car in a favela, then wonder why it's gone.

She also most definitely knew what was going on. Nader has to be the most clear example of her leveraging finances (rent, groceries, electronics) as "insurance" of a partner. Only problem with their arrangement was that Nader didn't fall in line. She got played. Anybody who believes her "I was in love" line is a fucking idiot. The fact that people online knew this guy was bad news months before he even showed his face is key. What's really funny is that him being accused of rape was a smaller dealbreaker than being "cheated" on (and she still came back). She's such a dumbass. She was trying to do a "pre-emptive strike" by trying to rewrite things that Mr. Snowflake hasn't covered yet, just like she did when he released the trailer. And just as it did then, it will have the opposite effect. It will just make him dig deeper.

I agree with the prevailing sentiment that reaction channels are plaaaayed and offer nothing new, especially not to us (and Mr. Snowflake's fell flat). The primary reasons we continue to follow Chantal on this thread are to witness (1) the rapid deterioration of her health and appearance and (2) the progressively desperate and deluded rages that reaction channels inspire. She's always twisting the same facts, but it is still kind of interesting to see what new and more desperate twist she'll put on a fact THIS time. Suddenly, that suicide attempt happened because she was ONLY 15 and MENTALLY ILL, when in previous tellings (when she was already in her mid 30s) she looked back on it matter-of-factly, admitting that it was just a calculated attention grab. It was also a hoot when she tried to reframe saying "I am going to manipulate the fuck out of you..." during Cuba rage as something she was reading from the chat. Mr. Snowflake will now take a closer look at Cuba rage.

IIRC, Sam's Bar Lounge hinted that they were going to release some dirt on Chantal herself and she was trying to head that off at the pass. That was why she feigned sympathy for what Nader was doing to DeeDee at first. It never happened, though, so her fake sympathy for DeeDee turned into her reveling in DeeDee getting "what she deserved." Now of course she uses it to paint HERSELF as the victim.
