It’s true, but again, every micrometer or set of calipers I’ve seen has a button on it to switch between metric and SAE. There’s not REALLY an issue that I’m aware of

Kind of thought, I will be fine with being wrong but I think the frequency of chains are different. The US is absolutely terrible about chain places because it’s like 3 miles per Walmart. for a time though we had the most stores with the most goods you can get in one location.
