I've heard this debate for years as far back as the Howard Stern show on TV. The "bald baby" look was the favorite of some but others wanted a landing strip or something to make them look more womanly.

personally i vastly prefer some over none. id rate well groomed -> thin landing strip -> full bush -> bald.

as for other body hair on a woman, i prefer it shaved, armpit and legs, but i can ignore it if she is still good looking in other ways.

shaving the beard is actually practical (bits of food or drink or even spit can get stuck in it, very annoying)
this doesn't apply to other body hair, and hygiene isn't really an issue either if you shower daily, so really what it comes down to is just aesthetics and personal preference

well, since you asked, i usually use my Lord brand safety razor. single blade razors > multi-blade razors. just in general, no matter the hair, i find the single blade safety razors shave so much better. and the blades for them are fraction the cost of the multi-blade kind.
