They have never confirmed that Ian is on SSRIs, it's just speculation on the thread (backed up by a lot of anecdotal evidence by people here who have been on them/seen people who are on them). If I had to guess... probably around the time CC2 was gonna happen. He did that interview with Anthony Padilla and he mentioned crying a lot, then CC2 happened and he lost, and he burst into tears there. SSRIs prevent you from really expressing emotion right? A realistic guess is probably after CC2. Looking back, I thought there was something wrong with him on CC2 but at least he was somewhat animated then. He probably wouldn't do the Reese's Puffs walkout dance now if you made him do a boxing walkout again.

I would imagine he has been on them longer than that, but who knows. Then again, one would also assume Anisa would be posting non-stop about depression/mental health as part of the humiliation ritual.

They absolutely numb your emotions, shrinks will sometimes call it reduced affect display or reduced emotional reactivity. Which, funnily enough, is also a possible aspect of autism.
But they don't make you totally unable to cry, especially in highly emotional situation like after a fight.

I’ve said before in the thread I’ve been on SSRIs and SSDIs along with ADHD meds. I am about absolutely positive he’s on some type of SSRI because of what it does to the eyes and he possibly takes ADHD meds on occasion, like when they’re filming the podcast or he does videos for his main to appear to have more energy or be able to talk. I believe he was definitely on them during CC2, the back and forth exchange in the weigh ins showed he was just not mentally present but the crying after the loss can be attributed to amphetamines. I have this theory because Ian doesn’t seem to like feeling “high” or out of his normal state of mind. He has said he doesn’t like drinking so I would imagine that would extend to prescribed amphetamines as well as you definitely feel “high” about five minutes after taking them but a lot of psychiatrists will prescribe both because SSRIs can make you space out and lose focus. I can see him being easily manipulated into SSRIs by both a doctor and Anisa because they don’t make you high, they slowly suck the life out of you over the course of months to where you stare out windows without a thought and feel next to nothing. Not trying to power level, but I’ve experienced this and it was fucking gay and horrible. They also make most people’s sex drive practically non existent.

I think the most realistic situation for these two is that Anisa will bleed him dry of money and all clout and she will have had enough. I think they will slowly stop uploading over the next couple years, maybe less, then posting will diminish and then Ian’s presence from the internet will disappear. When that happens, she will leave him, but not in a dramatic fashion, announce it calmly if she’s still using social media, the commentary channels will make their rounds to talk about this, Anisa will try to make her appearance more normal to snag a guy who makes decent money, is safe and okay looking even if he’s not famous. I don’t see these two ending with a bang. My prediction is it’s going to be a slow burn with a few interesting moments like the one we just got.

If she has a baby, which she’s hinted at here and there, it will only prolong my prediction because these two people have zero chemistry, act like casual acquaintances and Ian is just the yes man who forks over the money and carries her purse.
