Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
It brings controversy and drama which translates into viewers. I'm not saying I think it's a good idea I'm saying EVS does.
And then you have the Ethan simps who insist that drama is good because it draws viewers, which sells more comics, but I notice these fools are never actual creators themselves. CG is a luxury hotel for EVS and Mailin, but it's turned into a crackhouse for the rest of us who ACTUALLY MAKE COMICS. When shit like this happens our sales go DOWN, not up. CG was a nice neighborhood that turned into a ghetto. But tectonic plates are shifting now.

When I saw Mint Salad and whoever that fat fuck is, that was true moment of revelation for me. That was when I realized it IS FINALLY the beginning of the end. Tick tick tick @FROG. Any day now all your clout will disappear and THAT is when I and all the small, sincere indie comic creators you squashed start dropping those DMs. Tick tick tick.

Jesus fuck, Reignbro Brute was a 2021 campaign?

Hope it's worth it to the retards that put money behind it. With the amount of time Ethan spends bitching about just another mediocre comic in the CG sphere, but this one is run by a naughty gorilla man, his comic had better be the fucking best shit in decades. Pedo Diddler better be fucking Shakespeare too, with as much as Vedo and Juju have been railing, but at least they are already going with the "lol it was supposed to be retarded"

It'll be done any day now. Should get it by early next year...probably. Strix has a pretty good summary of the possible half-assed progress.

He seems to be doing it. But he is doing it as low effort as he possibly can. Its all three panel pages, minimal effort on the art and almost no story to speak of. So far, IMO it looks like some of the worst work he has ever done. There were six pages of art released that were all just set-up for a bar fight between the main character and a care-bear. Half the panels seem to contain giant bear heads emoting in different ways.

He may be up around a page a week in art which means this thing might be done by the end of the year. But the price of all this is that he can't even start Cyberfrog 3. If he follows his usual art pace (a page every 2 to 3 weeks), I wouldn't expect Cyberfrog 3 until 2027 or 2028.

----------------------

Would it be possible that he could siphon some of the car campaign money into finishing other incomplete projects?

Why the hell not? He can use HIS cut to play "get new credit card to pay off old credit card" all he wants. We don't really know his financials.

Some of it could be financial. But more and more I think his issue is lack of space and/or poor planning on receiving inventory. For whatever reason he couldn't get everything fulfilled in a few weeks or months starting last January or February. I suppose he may have been waiting for something, but even then. Then the toys come in June or July maybe (based on video below). Supposedly he's still in the red on them so he will have a lot sitting around unsold. Follow that up with wanting or needing to get rid of the other warehouse. So, whatever he was storing (comic stuff probably) has to go in the toy warehouse or vice versa. Must make it hard to get around.

I don't think it makes sense him wanting to actually use Eric's warehouse because of how far they are from each other. But depending on what he had coming down the pipe around that time. Maybe he actually wanted to? Could also have just been some negging or something else. But EVS included the video above showing the toy inventory. Possibly before they were able to get stuff organized. If that's even possible. But also probably why he's so slow/bad at fulfillment.

Technically a 2020 Campaign (started raising money in December 2020).

The biggest financial problem with that campaign IMO is going to be the "Briefcase" he promised. He has to have produced and custom manufactured an embossed metal kids school lunchbox that is at the same time big enough to contain all the comics for the campaign. He has never released any sort of prototype picture of what it would be. He just put up an illustration of a kid's lunchbox on the campaign and said it would come later.

I'm amazed at how many people even want one. And then want it without even seeing what it looks like. Might not be cheaper since it has to be designed, but I wonder if he'll try to get away with a cardboard lunchbox. Could be easier to mail at least. Less of a need to protect it to ship. Plastic might be a cheaper option too.

Wish Samantha Del Arroz good luck in her divorce settlement with Jon Del Arroz. Hope she takes a good chunk of his mommy daddy money.

Also Del Arroz was MASSIVELY ratio and community noted for this post. TRYING to find something wrong with kids cartoon X-Men 97 saying it's gay or whatever because she has the 80's mohawk straight out of Claremont's X-Men? Plus she wore a blazer in the 90s cartoon so that's no change. But Del Arroz was only pretending to be retarded you see.

>Xmen 97
>Storm is in her 80's design

really makes you think...

Nothing gets future backers like being late and insulting past backers publicly.

I thought that was a frame from the original cartoon at first glance. Storm was always a little butch and out of her element in normal society being from a completely different culture that burns peoples inside tires.

This here from the previous threads in reply to EVS shows what I already knew, that Eric July is copying some motivational speaker type be successful audiobooks., and that's what his fans are into. This tweet is a degeneration of Tony Robbins type thought where to be a success you only associate with successful people. Seems like Rippa is following the program and is a type of motivation speaker for low IQ nerds. Be Great! Ethan Van Sciver on the other hand purposefully emulates much less successful people. He has stolen bits from total garbage level Comicsgate people like Testefy, some fat toothless guy who pissed and shit in buckets and died with a gamer headset on screaming at people online. His current Trashcast format is ripping off ideas from two Rippaverse detractor channels The Geek Getaway and Big Daddy. Not like the idea of antagonizing Eric July is copyrightable but you would think someone with 100K+ subscribers would want to be more like the 1 Million sub channels than the 200-2000 sub count channels. Conclusion: Rippa can stand to ease off the sales seminar shit and have more fun and fatso @FROG ought to listen to more of it.

Yeah. EVS isn't offering fulfillment services because he doesn't want to take money from the little guy. "its just not right". He cares for the small creators out there with a dream. The ones that have mostly disappeared from CG already.

And how was the first Cyberfrog campaign fulfilled? Was it EVS and his children packing boxes all night long? No. Dynamite did it for him. But I think we are still supposed to pretend that didn't happen.

All us average joes like Ethan have to get together to save comics from rich guys like Eric July. Because we are all in this together. Right up to the point where we are not in this together again.

I find this shit frustrating. Sometimes it seems as though Jon invents outrage. Its Disney I'm sure there will be plenty to be annoyed about come launch given the progressive leanings of the writer. Storm having a mohawk, though? Dumb. Pure dumb. She had a mohawk in the 80s. Even the OG cartoon showcased it at some point, I believe during an alternate time-line run.

Yes, screenshot is taken directly from a clip of the cartoon.

It seems to me JDA and smaller channels were the entry point for the Sektur into CG. Only for those same channels to be targeted by the very people they let in. Boy howdy it sure would be a shame if a certain schizo warned people about this and went unheeded. (Yes I'm being coy, I warned a bunch of people about associating with these window-licking piss-drinkers)

see, I did not know that. That explains why they made Morph Non Binary. Fuck, another failiure for Marvel, I guess.
Disney owns Marvel, and Disney is now the happiest wokest place on earth. People shouldn't expect anything good from Disney Marvel. (Or Disney anything.) All the company cares about is pushing their political messaging. It's sad, but true. The old, glory days are over and done.

I don't have high hopes for X-Men '97 either but clickbaiting falsely off a single screenshot is still dumb. They already got at least some things right: animation style, costumes design, theme song, some of the original 90s voice actors (Including Storm, Wolverine, Rogue, and Beast). We'll see how prominent the whole current day issues bullshit is when it's released (sperging in AZ: THEY CURRENT DAYED US!) But I remember even in the 90s they were doing that shit in the books like Legacy Virus=AIDS and there was gay Northstar. Maybe X-Men was never really the CHUD's choice for literature. Conan was probably way more based back then.

The creator is some gay black guy who said it will be based on his experience as a gay man. Don't hope too much.
Truth be told, it'll probably suck, but not for the reasons JDA said. That looks like the Storm I remembered from back in the day. Or close enough anyways.

Sometimes it seems as though Jon invents outrage.
Sometimes?!

Look man, this is from the same playbook as TUG acting outraged that Camelot "got swatted." Even though it was fucking firetruck blowing its airhorn and he was back on camera within seconds.

This is just the typical outrage baiting.

But I remember even in the 90s they were doing that shit in the books like Legacy Virus=AIDS and there was gay Northstar. Maybe X-Men was never really the CHUD's choice for literature. Conan was probably way more based back then.
I rather enjoyed 90s era Punisher. Basically the Chuck Dixon era.

Since then, I've heard they have managed to even fuck up Punisher. Like how does one even do that? It's an absurdly simple character.

EDIT: Typo.
