Anybody that's fairly educated in American civics would understand WHY there's an electoral college system for voting. I never understood it at first. Now, after reading this statement, I see why. Major cities with huge population densities would just unanimously influence elections each time. American citizens have a problem with ignorance and complacence of how/who runs our elective system. It doesn't help with social media dumbing down history to basics and news media feeding off hysteria and fear mongering. I'd hope that the American populace would wise up on how government works TO fight for a better future.
its why to this day hilldawg SEETHES about the "anachronistic" electoral college system.

I've seen people make pathetic attempts to piss Trump off but this takes the cake for the lamest attempt. Exploiting someone's deceased family members for political purposes is low even for Trump haters.
It's the same people who want kids to learn about homo blowjobs, anal sex and mutilating their genitals. Nothings low for them

As I've gotten older I've come to appreciate the value of democracy isn't in "letting everyone have a say," as such - many people seem totally overmatched just trying to run their own lives, much less to think critically about questions of economics or foreign policy that have no 'right answers' but only conflicting trade-offs - but in that it allows for the expression of broad public desires and broad public discontents.

An actual democracy that just naturally does that can succeed, or maybe more precisely, can succeed at dealing with the public desire problem - it may well fall apart due to one of the other well-known problems of democracy. So too can a sham democracy (i.e. much like what we've traditionally had) succeed in this way so long as it pays close attention to the public mood. In theory, any system of government that concerns itself with the desires of the public could be a pleasant, humane place to live that promoted human flourishing, and thus be socially stable. I think that the problem is that in any not-truly-democratic system, there is always going to be an attraction towards ignoring the public on the part of the rulers, and the further away from democracy one goes, the stronger the attraction becomes. The rulers are always going to be tempted to put their needs front and center, and to ignore or demean the desires of the lower orders.

And as the public's needs go unaddressed, they are then easy prey for factionalism, or demagogues, or extreme ideologies. It's not only physical needs, either: starving people can and do revolt, but sometimes those needs are psychological, and it's not starving poor people but totally disaffected or radicalized middle-class people manning the barricades. But in either case, and to wrap it back to my previous comment: widespread public anger isn't (or at least shouldn't be taken as) a sign that the public is "bad," it's a sign that the leadership is failing in a very important duty that may spell the end of that set of leaders.
There's a few heuristics you can follow which explain the situation.

First is that you always hate the ones you betray. The democrats and their counterparts in the uniparty have completely abandoned the white working class, so they justify this betrayal by saying "they deserve it for being impure."

The second is that dependence breeds resentment. The only group that actually has enough power to challenge the ruling elite are the white, working class rural population. If you can turn off food, then you can fuck things up in an inconceivable way. The laptop class needs the working class a whole lot more than the other way around, and they do pose an actual threat to the existing order.

I have no idea what their plan is besides the coke or pepsi false choice situation they've been maintaining since the 80s. Maybe it's to use all these criminal aliens to undermine the power of labor, but it feels like they're trying to run out a clock of some sort..

Kiwifarms is a site to document actual things, not heresy. I find it really disappointing that all sources of information for this have been summarized and opinionated from other sources without being a complete unedited transcript or video from the source.

Which I can then summarize and opinionate for my own means.

I summarize and retweet things too. That's mostly the value of this place that you can do it without mostly getting banned. KF is a joke site, front and foremost. Then a 1st amend site, then it comes back to being able to joke on it. I'm worried that my archive.md crap might be less reliably stored than the original posts/uploads even here.

Sadly, as pointed out, not one out there yet. The closing arguments were... bad, though.

The longest and most amusing, delivered by this lisping faggot who I don't think could more than a year past law school, was basically a very rambling, poorly constructed last-ditch attempt to invalidate the entire thing by throwing literally anything at the wall he could and seeing if any of it would stick... He went from some argument about appearance of impropriety vs actual impropriety, to trying to argue that even if there WAS impropriety it didn't matter to the case, and that even if there was impropriety it wasn't actually impropriety anyway because there was no direct evidence of financial enrichment from it.

Pretty much literally "my client didn't do it, but even if she did it didn't hurt nobody, and she should be allowed to do it anyway".

The judge did not seem to be buying it, if his few pointed questions are any indication.

(I really need to whip up that Copypasta the amount of times I have had to type the following up from scratch)

The liberal elite want to bring back serfdom and the dark ages with the laptop cast and the 1%ers as the new nobility and their courtier class living in splendor while everyone else is a serf who they can rape, maim, kill with impunity while treating them worse than the average antebellum black slave since in the antebellum south, blacks were property and you had to at least do the bare minimum to take care of them while the European nobility gave no such fucks about the peasant/serf class outside the castle.

As for their hurry, I've said it before: Bush and Obama cauterized the wound that was the economic crash of 2008, turning a global crash/Great Depression 2.0 into a never ending recession with it's own "lost generation" akin to the crash in Japan and the lost generation that ensued in the 90s. But the stinger is that by spamming heal and duct taping the economy together, they've just delayed the inevitably. Gotterdammerung is going to happen no matter what and the elite and DNC in particular, wanted to install their own "Great Reset" policies so that when the crash comes, the elite will be able to survive and have all the tools in place to prevent them from being mass slaughtered in the greatest bloodletting of the elite not seen since the French Revolution. And their desperation is getting worse and worse, because they had to pull a controlled demolition in the form of Covid as part of their coup to remove Trump and it backfired on them since they couldn't nuke the economy only for it unnuke it with minimum damage. And now instead of Gotterdammerung happening on or one year after the 100 anniversary of the Great Depression, it's most likely going to happen sometime very soon, in the next Presidential term (2024-2028) and everyone is TERRIFIED of the hell it's going to bring, because the last global economic Gotterdammerung gave us six million dead Jews, Nazis, half of Europe becoming Russian slave states, France being destroyed as a major first world power player on the global scale, and Britain becoming a vassell state who exists solely to be the yes man/flunky for the United States.
