I haven't been able to find out the truth behind those claims but Alice does indeed seem to be receiving help from somewhere unless she's really raking it in on GOMI and lies about it so people don't realize the site is a cash cow for her and not the labor of snark love she insists it is.

But from I can see about her dad, he may be comfortable in his retirement but he doesn't have the appearance of having the sort of bank account that can support a grown daughter in New York, unless he's one of those millionaire next door types who lives so far below his means that one would never know how rich he is. He lives in a podunk Texas town in a house that cost around $175k (Texas real estate is still a bargain). It's a modest home on a decent lot but it's not the house of a rich man. Alice's brother also lives in a modest home in a big, Texas suburb, so if the trust fund came through their mother, her brother is also living the sort of life wherein one would never know he has access to a substantial sum of money. Alice's ex-husband doesn't show signs of being so wealthy he could afford to set her up in splendor in a divorce, but I haven't looked that closely at him.

So I have no idea how Alice is affording her carefree lifestyle. Could she possibly be earning enough through GOMI to live in NYC without a steady job or a generous trust fund or inheritance?

Over 6,000 individual donations were made to cover what added up to 4k worth of bills which she never posted a cap of being paid despite promising. What kind of fucking paychecks do you make that would have covered that? According to her she has another job now. Probably because GOMI isn't making enough for her to spend on 80 dollar tees to mock pretty instagram moms. Also, GOMI has made quite a bit of money in the past at certain points from my understanding. Maybe she's not so fucking stupid and saved. We'll never know for sure, but I don't believe she has a trust fund at all. She's just white trash who wishes she was something else. Most people who got knocked up in the early twenties, married a few months later, abandons their kid, becomes a cam slut, makes enemies online who send her naughty photos to her father and changes her name because of the mess she was in, lets some random guy with a wife she met online live with her until he got so fed up he bailed, and so on isn't the type of person that would come from a stable family with enough wealth to set up a trust that would allow her to live by herself in NYC. She's also got a weak attempt of some sort of fashion site I believe floating out there. So much failure in her life. As a mother, camwhore, writer, blogger, and as a human. And there's a couple of forums or threads on a forum from years and years ago that mention her still around as well. Not very kind either. Apparently, her face looks like a playstation controller. Which is the best insult that makes no sense to me I've ever heard in my life. She's been so careless with concealing her true identity. I don't know why she bothered changing her name. She blatantly told people in GOMI chat what her real name was like no one would ever remember.

It makes sense to me, the way her cheeks sag and are so prominent on her face, just like the two wings of the controller that you grasp in your palm. I think the most disturbing feature of her face is her nearly black, dead, shark-like eyes.

Here's an interesting article from the DailyDot with an interview with Alice that gives some realistic numbers for her income from GOMI, which is only several hundred dollars a month.

Earlier in the article she claims an eight year old niece gave her pets their shitty internet pop culture names, but I'm still pretty sure it was just Alice who supplements having a personality by attaching herself to reddit crazes. It also states the interviewer was meeting her after a "multi-day nap" and she was already drinking upon her arrival. I can't imagine Alice's dog not suffering immensely as a result of this, sleeping off hangovers for days a time means he isn't being taken out for walks and is shitting/pissing all over the apartment. And who's feeding them in that time?

Alice has one brother from her dad's marriage to her mother and a half-brother from her dad's first marriage. I don't know if her mother is still alive. If she is, she keeps a low profile. And the gay couple/prom night dumpster baby story is insane. Alice married the father of her child and gave up custody of the boy then later signed away rights so her ex-husband's new wife could adopt the child.

She's just white trash who wishes she was something else. Someone messaged me about this a while ago on reddit, but basically this Canadian guy left his wife and shacked up with Alice for a while (maybe years?) and then left her for his wife or another woman. According to the person that told me it was because Alice was...well Alice. Of course, that can all be made up or just inference. I tried to find some references to him online and he has a tumblr somewhere and Alice went on a pity party about it here. I've never seen this exchange before. Surprisingly, I feel bad for her in this instance. Sorry this album is so large, I don't know how to fix it.

I am guessing she looked on his IG and saw he was with someone else and it upset her. Which may be where the other woman came from. To be fair, I've heard that whoever he is, he was a freeloading dick.
