Deer Creek School District responds after video shows students licking toes for fundraiser

Video sent to Fox 25 shows students at Deer Creek High School licking feet for a fundraising event during the school's Wonderful Week of Fundraising

EDMOND, OKLA. (KOKH) — Deer Creek School District released a statement Friday afternoon after a video was sent to Fox 25 that showed students licking toes during an event for the school's Wonderful Week of Fundraising.

The week was spent raising money for Not Your Average Joe Coffee, which employs people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.

The district said that on Thursday, Deer Creek High School hosted an assembly called Clash of Classes for students to pay to attend.

Students in 9th through 12th grades volunteered to participate in different class competitions, according to the district.

Deer Creek Schools noted that every student who participated signed up for the games they played ahead of time and that no Deer Creek faculty or staff participated during the assembly.

The district also said students were paired up with corresponding grade levels for the competition where students were seen in the video licking toes.

The district said $152,830.38 was raised for Not Your Average Joe Coffee during the fundraising week.

This afternoon, Deer Creek High School announced a grand total of $152,830.38 raised for Not Your Average Joe Coffee, an organization created to 'inspire our community by including students and adults with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities,' according to their website. This total was raised through a week of events and activities at both Deer Creek High School and Deer Creek Middle School, all designed to bring our community together for an extremely impactful organization. On Thursday, February 29, 2024, Deer Creek High School hosted an assembly called the Clash of Classes for students who paid to attend. During this assembly, ninth through twelfth grade students volunteered to participate in various student-organized class competitions, in the spirit of raising money for NYAJ. All participants in the assembly were students who signed up for the game(s) they played ahead of time. No Deer Creek faculty or staff participated in any of the games during this Clash of Classes assembly. Many dedicated students gave generously of their personal time to achieve this momentous accomplishment, which will serve communities beyond the boundaries of Deer Creek. We would like to thank all of the patrons, businesses and sponsors who contributed to the success of this year’s Wonderful Week of Fundraising.

Look, I'm not saying I have a foot fetish or anything, but if I hypothetically did, the idea that I could show up to school one day and be told I get to suck some hot cheerleader toes under the guise of raising money for some gay charity would be the equivalent of hitting the Powerball. Not that I would enjoy it or anything, I'm just speaking hypothetically haha.

What's a truly amusing thought to me is this; all the adults involved & greenlit this stunt are likely SO INNOCENT OF MIND that they simply didn't see anything off about this. Like think of how a kindergartener (which is why "grooming" is a real horrible thing) would react to this:
"THEY'RE LICKING SOMEONE ELSE'S FEET? HAHAHA THAT IS SO GROSS FEET ARE STINKY!"
You would only be aware of why licking another person's foot would be considered deviant if you knew of foot fetishes. To someone who is completely pure of mind this wouldn't be perverted, in fact WE'RE THE PERVERTED ONES to think this is fucked up and not just a grossout stunt.

And if you want to deny that an adult couldn't possibly see this as innocent remember this was a REAL Doritos commercial that ran on TV.
It's a clear allusion to GLORY HOLES. Network censors let it go though, no one was outraged by this.

Feet-licking videos uncovered from past Edmond Public Schools fundraising events​

Videos show students at Edmond North and Edmond Memorial High Schools have participated in similar fundraisers to Deer Creek School District (Video: KOKH)

EDMOND, Okla. (KOKH) — After FOX25 reported on a video last week of students licking feet as part of a fundraiser at Deer Creek High School, multiple viewers reached out saying similar fundraisers had been held in the Edmond Public School district.

FOX25 found that students at Edmond North and Edmond Memorial High Schools have participated in similar events in the past.

It wasn't just a one-time fundraising idea. There are videos spread out over several years.

The videos FOX25 found were taken from the YouTube channels of both of the schools. It's publicly posted footage of Edmond students licking chocolate, peanut butter and other condiments off feet and armpits during their week-long philanthropy events.

It's called Balto Week for Edmond North and Swine Week for Edmond Memorial.

The most recent video FOX25 found was from 2020, but there's videos going back to 2015.

FOX25 sent that video over to Edmond Public Schools, asking for their response.

They noted the feet licking, "didn't happen this year," and the district spokesperson didn't respond directly to the videos FOX25 sent.

Instead, they sent this full statement:

We are proud of our students for the tireless work and immense effort they put into each of our philanthropy weeks. Already this school year, our North and Santa Fe students have raised more than $416,000 for local non-profits with Swine Week at Memorial still to come. EPS school administrators, just like our surrounding districts, work with student council sponsors to make these weeks as impactful as possible. Through their efforts over many months, metro area high school students learn countless life lessons on how to make a positive difference in their community.

This is the same cadre of public officials that thinks when it comes to school that Drag Queen Story Hour, trooning out kindergarteners and letting convicted pedos teach sex ed classes were good ideas.

So raising 150k for retarded cripple baristas is supposed to make this all kosher huh? Somebody should look into that coffee shop to make sure this "charity" isn't a front for anything (which considering how most charities are, it most likely is).

Just last week we saw the slow uncovering of an apparent gay CSAM/pedo ring within the municipal government system and public school system in Wisconsin. I have said many times in the past when we have seen other GLBTQPs get busted for pimping out their adopted/surrogated kids, there are almost certainly more of these networks just below the surface. Maybe we are getting a hint of one in Oklahoma.

If not for the internet that's probably what I'd still be thinking well into adulthood. The only reason I know foot fetishism is even physically possible is because of weirdos airing their mental illness under the cloak of online anonymity. I genuinely never would have considered it otherwise because it's just such a foreign way to live to me.

I can definitely see Mrs. Methuselah signing off on this because she had no idea how fucked up the world is.

I am just confused by this story. Not only is it extremly bizzarre to even consider that some school administrator thought that this was a good idea, it also apparently happened for years which footage existing but somehow it only now blew up.

Wasn't there a single person ever in that chain in past years that thought "hey this is super weird maybe we should do something about that".

All in all I can't find any other reasonable explanation apart from foot loving lizard people are involved.
