I have had to tell people I know IRL that screenshots don't show evidence of anything since they can be easily faked; archive or nothing. The only exception is live chat platforms since you can't archive those, but they should always view them with suspicion.

If you are going to take the effort to screenshot, take the effort to archive. People need to stop being lazy.

Funnily enough I completely missed that bit. Stopped actively using Steam before 2020 and then started using it again after, so I had no fucking idea what happened to the platform. I only remember that the peak of profile customization was getting a profile background, some extra displays and funny emotes, and you had to pay for backgrounds and emotes.

And by the time I went back to Steam I didn't give a shit about the community aspects of it anyway, just wanted to rent and play some singleplayer vidya. My profile is completely private now. :story:

The issue is they don't even link screenshots. It literally just says "Proof on their website." in most of the curator reviews.

It's a woke company whose entire purpose is to force DIE bullshit into vidjya. You would lose that bet, not because you're wrong, but because not a single soul with a functioning brain cell would bet against you on that. A better bet would be betting on how many of them are pedophiles. I'm putting my money on 10 to 12.

The Sweet Baby blowup is funny because all they had to do was ignore the Steam curator until people forgot about it. Instead they threw a big tantrum while demanding their followers mass report the creator responsible, and now the Steam list has way more followers than before, and people are paying more attention to what goes on with Sweet Baby.

Sweet Baby is a company that shouldn't exist, they provide a service that isn't needed. If you want to have "minority" characters in your game but can't just do it based on your own experiences and personal judgements and so on and decide instead that you need the approval and moral guidance of "Sweet Baby Inc.", you're a loser who desperately seeks the approval of a cult of weepy hipsters and bored wealthy people who really, really need to feel like they're fighting the good fight by "pushing for inclusive and diverse voices" or some other DEI word salad mush.
