I recently re watched the video of his emenince Metropolitan Pavel being escorted out of Divine Liturgy by the SBU and it made me remember what a privilege all of us are in to not be persecuted by our home countrys because of our faith. May God have mercy on Vladimir Zelninsky and his Western Puppet Masters.

Why is this you ask? I thought they were months away from a victory? They had almost 10 years to prepare for this and didn't bother do much beyond trenches. Their leaders laundered, broke the system and used up all the money for good defenses to enrich themselves.

The Russians have been playing a smarter, and more sustainable ground advance, being careful not to overexert themselves. Ukraine spent a significant amount of time & resources on the failed offensive and no longer has the ability to put of effective defensives which has cost them large losses with no way of stopping the Russian advance.

Interestingly, the real start of the anti-Russian narrative for the US regime was the anti-gay stuff. They were fine with all the corruption, the political opponents coming down with nasty cases of gravity, the low-grade belligerence in the Caucasus, etc. Remember, Obonobo originally advocated for improved relations with Russia.

The claim that the Russians are only advancing beyond Avdiivka because of a lack of prepared defensive positions is very questionable. The Ukrainians have been getting their asses kicked in the Avdiivka area for a while. Since before the city itself fell.

The problems started when the Russians pushed down into the city from the north. An entire new rested re-equipped brigade 3rd Assault (Azov) that had not fought since December was brought in. Not only were they and the other forces in the city unable to push the Russians back at all, they got defeated and the road into the city was cut off. Those were good defensive positions inside a city. There was no good reason for it.
The next prepared defensive line beyond central Avdiivka was the chemical plant and a set of positions that had been heavily fortified for years. The chemical plant in particular was another fortress. An incredibly difficult position to take that the Russians had never previously made a serious attempt to take.
Then the chemical plant fell for reasons that nobody really understands. It fell quickly and with very little effort. It didn't fall for lack of fortifications.
Then they reached the defensive positions in the villages to the west of Avdiivka. They were fortified as well going back years. And every village in Ukraine is to a certain extent a natural fortress and somewhat difficult to take.
And then Russians kicked them out of those villages rather quickly as well.

The point here is that something bigger is going on than just a lack of defensive foritifications. That the Russians advanced to those positions west of Avdiivka where they are now by pushing through well prepared defensive positions really quickly.

That the problems at the front west of Avdiivka are as much the poor performance of the units doing the fighting as any lack of trenches or prepared defensive positions. They are just not fighting very well.

I dont even know Julians goals anymore, he started off as like the most pro-ukraine user than starts making posts that gets his own NAFO fanbase pissed off at him. If he was a Russian agent I don't know anyone better than him when it comes to converting NAFO fans to Russian fans.

None. Even Mediazona doesn't support this allegation. (They were consistent in showing only like 100ish deaths per week since January)

But with statistics there's all sort of fun games you can play to make it "technically" true. Did Russia take 16k casualties in taking Avdiivka over that lightning two weeks blitz? Lol probably not. Did they suffer a total of 16k over the two years they invested in it? Doubtful either; Russian deaths (official) top out at what, 20k, and that's with Bakhmut. Here's the fun one, is it possible it's 16k since 2014? 100%, DPR had taken a lot of casualties between the start of the unofficial civil war and even during the SMO, being generally less trained and less well equipped.

Isn't statistics fun?

You must not know Julian lore. He first gained some Internet fame by being one of the loudest proponents of the Syrian 'moderate' headchopper rebels earning the moniker of "Jihadi Julian". After Russia intervened in Syria and his precious jihadis got fucked he became a doomer and started blaming Russia for everything under the Sun. The start of the SMO gave him a new opportunity to hate on Russia, but history is repeating itself and he is becoming a doomer again.

The only source for this, is a Telegram guy who was peripherally involved in the military, and was going on a Don Quixote style crusade against a military prosecutor.

The guy was obviously suffering from PTSD, was mentally disturbed to some extent and had since killed himself.

There is no evidence or indication that losses were anywhere close to that high.

The 16,000 number sources to a supposed "Russian Military Blogger" named Andrei Morozov. Morozov supposedly did alot of defeatest military coverage about how the Russians lacked weapons, were incompetently lead, were suffering horrible losses constantly and so on. He was convinced that they could never take Avdiivka. Then when they took Avdiivka he switched to complaining about how they had accomplished nothing because the Ukrainians would just defend further to the west.

The day after the Russians took Avdiivka, he published the 16,000 number which was instantly the authoritative number in the western media. Two days later, he was claiming that he was forced to take his message down by Russian authorities. The next day he sent out a suicide note and supposedly killed himself. The proof of the suicide usually given is "he said so" or his attorney saying so when contacted by journalists.

He got alot of coverage in places including the New York Times after the battle of Avdiivka. A full wikipedia article about him appeared out of nowhere the day his "death" was reported.
