I just noticed he's constantly checking something to his left. The chat is down and to the left, but this seems to be at eye level. Has he set up an extra monitor in there or something?
Don't forget, he had to rearrange the room to fit Khetby in there.

So DSP decided to name drop Sajam, who is part of an upcoming coaching/tournament for Tekken , during his post-stream cope. DSP claims Sajam said "you'll swear you're losing to a mashing scrub...and you are". I have not perused the entire Sajam library on Tekken but I think DSP missed an important point.

@ 0:38. You're also a mashing barbarian, DSP. And stupid. And fat. Let's review some of his caveman thinking:

DSP uses db 1, 2 a lot. Here are its properties:
  • 26 frame startup (considered slow and reactable by skilled/pro players)
  • - 13 on block for the second hit and recovers standing. (punishable)
  • +4 (first hit) on regular hit. recovers crouching.
  • +0 (second hit) on regular hit. +6 ballerina spin if the second hit counter hits
  • natural combo for 32 damage
  • hits low, then mid (requires a crouching, then standing block)
One of DSP's main complaints is that he's getting stuffed or counterhit. Looking at the actual properties, it's easy to see why. He's mashing a slow startup attack that gives no advantage on hit even when he is successful. It's mathematically not built to allow him to push his offense. This is how frame data helps you formulate a personal style. Sure, let it rock for some sneaky damage, but you have to go back to neutral afterwards.

And someone taught the baby the name "Twin Pistons". A 13 frame rising launcher that's -12 on block. That's not instant anything, loser. The best part is him getting hit by the second hit proving that he is mashing.
It's just like the Core-A Gaming video about rollback, where he plucked out one keyword he heard in the explanations of how it worked and ignored what was actually being said.

You would think that his dent brigade would finally grow a spine and leave after he ignores them for the millionth time, but no. Instead of starting gameplay after his Copecast, despite his viewers telling him to do that, he goes to the Suggestion Box. You can guess what happens with said suggestions.

They’re called “dents” for a reason…

You're right on the money. Phil has this weird thing in a fighting game where he'll pick something that will do a moderate to large amount of damage pretty easily but pretty unsafe and if the person has an answer will be countered near constantly much to piggas ire
Watching Phil play fighting games reminds me of playing against my nephews in Smash. They will find a move or tactic that works once or twice, and spam it over and over and over and over and over. Even after I've perfectly punished it the tenth time they keep doing it, because they took one of my stocks with it two matches ago so it has to be a good move. They have a better attitude about losing than Phil does though.

To be fair to your nephews, Falcon punch is pretty easy to get a cheap stock with?

Idiot yells at his chat to start talking and help him play the game, then claims that people are burnt out from his RPGs. Chat tells him no and to stop jumping to negative conclusions. Phil relents and handwaves it away saying that he was wondering why no one was talking.

He's so fucking scared to lose the audience tips.

Also, he's sitting at $26 (thanks, OneMinuteMan).

Yoshimitsu can put away his swords and fight with his fists. Does that change the frame data on block?
