I mean you can say "Oh wow you didn't know journalism was corrupt? fucking moron" but some of us were pretty young and naive when it happened. I was 17-18 when GG happened and for me it was the very first event that made me actively question the news I was reading. I was seeing in real time the articles were not accurately describing what was happening and critically thinking about it. That single handedly changed forever the way I consumed media.

Seriously, if you have ever been involved in any event that got news coverage, you would have immediately noticed how they got everything wrong. You might have assumed innocent misunderstanding. But then it happened again. And again. And again and again and again.

Last time I tried finding out why some mentally ill faggot spamming nigger and tranny porn 247/7 was roaming free while everyone calling it out got immediately axed with 30-60-180 day bans. Their answers? Not our problem, why should we care or do anything? It's also worth mentioning that before sending a single message I got to witness uwu erp shit between two of them. Then I got banned from the channel.

My thing is, what could possibly be worse than what they've already got going? The site dies every few weeks because the feds need to step in after some /r9k/ schizo kills himself of /pol/ threatens a senator. The worst has already happened, your website is being monitored by the police to pick up criminals and conspirators. It's a baseless fear.
