I think women are less likely than men to actually go out of their way to perform the amount of violence it takes to incapacitate and essentially kill a living creature (hence why homicide perpetrators, and in the case of monkey zoosadists, VO’s, are overwhelmingly male), however I have no doubt in my mind that the amount of men and women who are into consuming this shit is about 50/50.

Thanks for welcoming me back. I don't own Vidlii, nor do I host it, so I do not know why your singling me out about it. It has nothing to do with me anymore.

Secondly, when I did own it, I am the one who banned BMT videos. After lolwut bought the site, and relaxed the registration rules, they flocked en masse. Within a day or two of it being brought to my attention, I updated the terms of service to restrict the uploading and hosting of all animal abuse content.

So why are you associating me with them? Because for a few days, they uploaded their videos on my site, and I banned them immediately after? I still have the IRC logs of me arguing with lolwut. These vague threats you are making stain the just and noble cause being undertook here. I love monkeys, I think they are adorable and would never want to hurt them, and am extremely supportive of everything being done here. I did what I could when I had a ring in the fire, and now it has nothing to do with me.

I am also aware that there are some channels on Vidlii which are posting videos of little monkeys. Some of them seem to be ran by the same type of people who ran BMT channels in the past. Under Kolyma's tos, these channels fell into a legal gray area, as they did not share any illegal videos, but had weird messages and were clearly ran by mentally ill people. As suspicious and evil as they likely are, the TOS is still enforced by the letter, not the spirit, and since these channels did not upload illegal material, they were not deleted. If they advertised links to it (or to off site groups that did), it was also banned. I am not sure about lolwuts current stance regarding that.

But the fact remains that men commit the large majority of violent crime and essentially all violent sex crime. There’s certainly an interesting element to monkey torture since people wouldn’t expect women to be so involved as viewers. My best guess is the substitute child abuse angle. Although it’s nearly exclusively men that commit sexual violence against children, women often have higher rates of child abuse simply because many fathers are either completely absent or spend very little time with their children. Yet when a kid shows up at the hospital with a broken arm…yeah, that probably wasn’t mom.

Not going to continue sperging about this since it’s well beside the point of this thread. But some of the stupid shit needs to be checked (“everyone knows nurses were the mean girls in high school”. I also think most women into true crime are into it either because of the catharsis of someone else's worst case scenario that they're afraid of, or the high-stakes puzzle/detective aspect.
