goldfish are more difficult to care for than a cat, unless you mean get a fish keep it in an aquarium 100x too small and let it choke in it's shit and piss until you flush it, than yea they're retard friendly.
Can you see cobra clean a litter box regularly?
I'd support Cobra getting a cat, it's probably the one animal that would work well with him. Their dietary requirements are "Fill up the bowl with food" and not anything more complicated than that, you can give them scraps of meat or small portions of tuna if you run out and the boy seems to have no end to those resources. You know Clint (Or even his trolls) would DoorDash him cat food anyway. They are affectionate and kind creatures, they need almost no attention because they largely take care of themselves and spend most of their life sleeping, whatever screaming retardation is just behavior the cat can and will ignore. Young cats also like to fuck around and climb on things, I think it'd be hilarious to have Cobra running after a cat because he keeps knocking over his booze bottles and his wand shit.

The only issue I can see is him regularly changing the cat litter. I don't think he'd do it enough and his place would just smell like cat shit 24/7.
The moment cobra gets a cat, the trolls will switch from cat food to dog food or send him pigs feed like they did when Darf was last there. Cats are not stress free or obedient pets and the moment the cat is too much work for him he will end up "losing" it aka kicking it out into the wild. If the cat is that lucky and didn't die by ingesting some wand crafting chemicals or other drugs left around his boghole.

The retard said he wants to get a cat from the shelter "if he does not get puff back"

cats are not retard friendly pets, he should get a goldfish
He shouldn't even get a fish. He would kill it instantly due to not understanding the nitrogen cycle. I'm not even sure if he would use water conditioner to make the tap water safe for one. Unless you know how to take care of aquarium plants, you have to do weekly water changes to keep things clean, which I don't see him doing, and goldfish poop a lot. Maybe he would do it drunkenly and spill water everywhere. He would feed it every time it swam at the glass and poison it with rotting food/ammonia or give it dropsy. And goldfish, especially the cheaper 80 cent feeder goldfish, can get over 1ft in length. If they're kept in a bowl they'll have stunted growth and serious health issues, and die after a couple years max. A goldfish in a large tank or pond can live for decades.

If he sets up a proper tank with a filter and lights instead of a bowl, I highly doubt he would use a drip loop. You're supposed to make a loop in any cords connected to a fish tank so water can't run all the way down the cord into the electrical outlet. It would be a fire hazard. I can also imagine him drunkenly falling into the tank and breaking it, or floor lording Jessica into it

I don't think he's responsible enough to care for any pet besides a rock.
Some one should door dash him a pothos plant.
That or a succulent, depending on whether he overwaters, or forgets to ever water. There are some pretty goth looking succulents out now.

No way Josh is responsible enough for a dog. they are great animals but you need a lot of patience and a calm demeanor. Josh is sloshed all the time too, being a blackout alcoholic with a dog is not a good thing. Not only that, he will totally get bombarded by animal welfare checks if he got a dog. (or really any animal i guess)
Yeah I mean I don't think anyone in this thread will disagree with you on any of that. I hope he doesn't get a cat, a dog, or anything else for that matter. The only thing I think Josh could maybe take care of is some simple little rodent, like a hamster. Even that probably wouldn't thrive under his care even in the best case scenario. The weens would be calling animal services for welfare checks no matter what creature he takes as a ward, even if it were a hermit crab or an exotic bug.

I'm merely pointing out that this whole "get a new pet" idea is something that's been pretty clearly taking possession of Josh's bogbrain as of late, and this cat talk is just the most recent example of it.

No, i get that. I was just voicing the thoughts going through my head with the idea. Havent read the idea before and i honestly find it alarming.

This whiskey is actually pretty good. Thanks for the recommendation Cobra! It doesn't burn as promised though. I think I need more open sores in my mouth.

Man you basically said exactly my thought's

As for a dog, yeah the alcohol is for sure a big problem, there probably be other problems like walking the dog without a lease. which you could do if you train it but knowing cobes he probably wouldnt take that time and trust in his wizardy bullshit to sort it out.
All that said. Cobra has a quite calm and relaxing character most of the time. i could see him being pretty good with a dog if he didnt drink so much

Cats are almost entirely stress free, have you ever owned one? As long as you provide a cat with an occasional brushing, a place to do it's business and some food, it will run on auto-pilot and occupy it's own time accordingly. It doesn't need to be obedient, it just needs to hang around and be nice, most cats will just do that. Plenty of lazy retards have cats for decades, some are documented on the Farms and are worse than he is.

My biggest issue with Josh owning pets is that he's proven he will try to get it stoned or drunk at some point. Even if it's just edgy tard talk, he's tried to justify it several times about multiple pets.
He's retarded enough to give cats actual weed even though catnip is pretty much weed for cats.

Having kept both, a goldfish done correctly is immensely easier. You can't leave a cat alone for 2-3 weeks and come back to an alive cat. Goldfish aren't retard proof but if you set them up correctly they will tolerate more neglect than pretty much any other domesticated vertebrate. The main worry I'd have is him overfeeding or feeding retarded shit as "treats"

There is a massive overcorrection people do on fish to exagerrate how hard they are to keep in response to how badly carnival fish have been treated historically. An appropriate setup isn't even expensive. I could throw together a shopping list to build a respectable full goldfish setup for $150 or less.
