It looks to me like the blowout panels successfully redirected the ammunition ignition, so its probably actually quite fixable. Its a bit of an odd one to me, it obviously isn't a catastrophic kill but to my understanding it was probably captured, which is clearly worse?
Well, we're not sure. As RE pointed out in his video, while the blow out panels clearly worked, it also looks like there was an internal fire as well, given that smoke appears to be coming out of the hatches. Usually when the crew compartment of a tank catches fire bad enough to put out black smoke, that's a sign of significant damage if not a total loss.

Honestly, it's overrated. Yeah it's a huge collection, and it has Maus, but a lot of it is in pretty poor shape and the rest are just boring cold war prototypes that were never produced. Worth visiting if you really like tanks I guess, but make sure you learn Russian first, few signs are in English.

Why so? You can just apply for a visa (it'll be approved) and fly to Moscow. You'll need to withdraw and convert your travel fund to rubles before rather than just paying with your credit card, but so what, that's fiscally responsible anyway, Mastercard charge a tonne on currency conversions.
Just to add to this, Russia recently introduced E visa that you can do from you phone, so no need to go to an embassy.
