If the culture of a website gatekeeps pedos and other unsavories, they will eventually leave and find somewhere easier to infest.

This just isn't true for imageboards. Every IB admin will tell you a nearly identical story about one or a handful of posters that dedicate themselves 24/7 to posting CSAM, animal snuff, lolicon, what-have-you.

You're right that this stems from an issue of it being too easy for them to infest the sites in question, but I'm saying that the lack of an account creation barrier makes infestation a permanently easy thing for them do.

Not sure why i can't reply to your post, but i think for once we're in agreement on something. It's definitely no longer a "soy spinoff" or /qa/ backup anymore, and probably hasn't been for quite some time. Arguably it's still a bald man with glasses site, but that's probably just one element of the site now. I think the best solution would probably to ban discord related discussion entirely, just as mentions of 'p are already banned, but i don't know how feasible that'd be to institute.

Yes, i do agree with you that imageboards are probably dying but the need to save them from the dying husk that is 4cuck does still remain. While banning soyjaks was one symptom of bad moderation there, so was allowing endless bot posts and slide threads on /pol/, people to force memes hated by the at large userbase on places like /v/, and even just refusing to engage with the community at all and just hiding in their IRCs and Discords.
As much as i dislike the mods for locking /qa/, i'd have no issue if they returned it to it's original purpose.

As for degenerates on imageboards, i think the only likely solution is to both ignore them and have rules in communities which make it difficult for them to gain ground. As much as i dislike 4cuck moderation, you'd struggle to spam gore or any type of porn on a blue board without it being swiftly removed.

Hmm, maybe bad actors opposed to certain websites might file reports that are dubious or false in order for the site to be deemed 'le bad'' by normies or another community, and harmed or even taken down as a result. But I can't think of any occurrence in which that may have happened...

And what type of 'evidence' or 'info dumps' are we talking? Is it damning? I think the owner made an Epstein joke once, but aside from that, I really don't think any of them want to diddle kids. Are we even talking about the current admin?

I would like to believe Doll really has good intentions. I am not asking him to do anything, to retract his claims, to prove anything, or to disprove what I said, I am just making a statement, you can make your own opinions base off this.
