Seems like a good chance to shill for 2view vsinger Mitani Miku. She often sings in a deeper register and has that breathy, raspy quality you're asking about.

A few months back, she joined a side project with a bunch of other 2views called Charm End, where they play different characters in a voice drama. I love when smaller vtubers do ambitious shit like this. Too bad it's moon runes only.

So, according to Sayu herself, Nijisanji hit her up at a random time and went "You have 3 hours to decide to leave amicably, starting now, or you're terminated" and she didn't even have time to consult with her lawyer or anything, and then they played autistic legal chicken with her, just to save face. Allah forgive me, I have to link to a HeroHei video because I can't find the actual clip on her channel.

She is on X as "dearsqn" where she occasionally does X spaces while she's out in Japan for school. She has stated she has exactly zero plans for the future, meaning she's not planning to come back to streaming, nor is she planning to NOT come back to streaming. Finally, she's stated in no uncertain terms that she's not interested in showing her face ever, so fleshtubing is not likely on the cards.

The impression I get is that Niji has successfully gaslit her into thinking that she doesn't matter at all and she only got popularity thanks to the company, so now she's left she expected to go back to Mint Maid levels, but of course that's not the case. Her X got blown up by all of us following her, and she gets multiple thousands of listeners to her X spaces (which are not scheduled nor advertised - one has to be looking at X when she's doing a space to know it's going on).

I personally think she will come back under one alias or another once she's back from Japan and had a few months to sit and think about it. She'll have the curiosity of "do people actually like me?" And she's very aware of how Doki is doing. If/when she does, she'll get a hero's welcome and insane numbers (especially on the superchat front), and probably not dwell on the past at all, moving on entirely like Doki has done.

TL;DR - for now, yes.

She still has screenshots and said documents "[...]if any legal people want to see them". Weren't included on her One Girl's Story document; her first version was 35 pages long but trimmed it down to the final 22.

She said she wants to do college/take some time, my take is she is planning on joining HL if she is planning on coming back at all, takes a while to debut, even after you have been selected, look at the Advent girls, Go Go Nippon! (Currently FWMC) took like, 5 months after there hiring (based on speculation) to debut

Highly doubt we will see any holo debuts in a while, last year we had Advent and Regloss, cant see a new gen happening, especially for EN in at least a year or 2, could see a new ID gen tho

Doubt it, aside from Vshojo there hasn't been much swapping between corpos.

Advent had a really extensive debut they had songs, animations and promo all pre-arranged. They put a lot of effort into making it as impactful as possible.
