If it's properly documented in your records, they practically throw it at you / ask if you want it, no coy games. I'm sure plenty of pill pushing doctors have no problem doing it; but if you have a receipt saying you've been properly tested and diagnosed, you don't even need to say "I have a hard time staying awake at my desk job." He sees himself as a great comedian, great entertainer, fascinating person and social media genius. He is also an expert in relationships and religion. He has seen the law content as incidental to his success. People didn't care about the law. They cared about listening to Nick and interacting with Nick with his "fun" content.

He saw the show as talking to people, telling funny stories and telling jokes on the internet. Law was just a small part of that.

He has also said that he is making the show for himself and if people don't like it, they should leave. That he would rather work at walmart stocking shelves than do content to appeal to an audience. In fairness, there is apparent lore in the thread about Nick being involved in "bidding wars" with his parents for some of the charity auction stuff.
