Why does everything have to be a goddamn spectrum these days? Those fucking rainbow people won't stop until they've ruined everything.

Hi, my name is Less Nasty. I have hemmorhoid spectrum, flat feet spectrum and post nasal drip spectrum disorders. My cats are on the cat spectrum, and I just found out my Toyota is also on the Hilux spectrum. I can only eat Skittles because I have Snack Spectrum Disorder.

It's almost as if turning everything into spectrums is the munchie end game so everyone gets to play smol and sick.

I have a theory about this. People who work in mental health have always understood that everything is a spectrum…there has always been an understanding that people can vary in the severity of their mental illnesses, the same way that people can vary in severity of physical illness. But for whatever reason the autism advocates got absolutely hell-bent on emphasizing this for autism; to the point where lay people are now SURPRISED to learn that things other than autism can also encompass a spectrum of serverity. My personal theory is that as we gained more awareness of what autism looks like, the high functioning tists wanted to make it super clear that they aren’t like those retard tists. Hence the initial insistence that we label high-functioning tism as aspergegers, and then when we stopped doing that because it’s all still autism, they replaced it with the euphemism “on the spectrum.” Notice that no one uses the phrase “on the spectrum” to describe a non-verbal diapered retard. It’s a way that high functioning tists signal that they’re totes different, and they wound up highjacking the entire basic notion of “all things can range from mild to severe.”

True BPDs don’t have a master plan, it’s chaos all the way down. If there’s splitting among staff it’s usually because people react differently to extremely challenging patients. With narcs, lots of scheming, though.

He's right to some extent. If you can't manage your own life effectively don't insist on making another one. Obviously people who have phases of bad mental health amongst a life where they are actually trying and pulling together a respectable life aren't who I'm talking about in this instance. But if you are so ill it dominates your life, don't have kids. However that's an ideal world type of scenario and we don't live in an ideal world so we just have to deal.

If there is one thing I cannot fucking stand, it is people with actual factual disabilities who legitimize munchies and people with fake disabilities. They are the handmaidens of the disability community. I recently had the opportunity to view a zoom panel discussion of young adults with disabilities, and the members of the panel were as follows: a fat white self-diagnosed autistic college themby (obviously a dude), a skinny just-out-of-college white girl with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos and POTS, a 20 year old white dude with ADHD, and. . . a young Black man with SPINA BIFIDA who used a wheelchair and self-catheterized due to neurogenic bladder. One of these things just doesn't belong here, but wait, he's exactly the sort of guy who DOES belong here. He has an ACTUAL DISABILITY, not something made up as an excuse for why they can't get their shit together. If I were disabled, I would be furious at these clowns taking over the narrative. What bullshit.

She has a fall. Like an 80 year old woman.
This fall magically yanked the incision back open. An incision that probably had knitted back together quite considerably and would be unlikely to open back up so severely that she needed a second surgery to stop the bleeding. But you know, Dani just has the worst luck.

She wakes up with the usually horrible pain. Wonder why.


This is a new angle for her to munch. Guess the abdominal symptoms had reached a point of diminishing returns now that they just keep referring her to psych. She knew she needed something good an tangible like mutilating a limb.

Reddit speculated that she deliberately worsened the injury in order to need more surgery, some of the photos looked pretty awful to my inexperienced eye. Between the surgeries she claimed to have banged it taking out the garbage, and then there was another fall.

In the latest Reddit update the photos look better so I hope she leaves the damned thing alone and doesn’t do a Kelly.

Just want to add that her friend Kelly Carragher, the one who died a few years back, did get compartment syndrome. I haven't been following Dani's saga closely so I don't know how much of hers was manufactured, but Kelly's was not and it is probably how she got on the pain meds that were found in her system after her death.

I’ve only seen CRPS once (the real kind with mad pain, swelling, temperature abnormalities, loss of hair growth etc). This guy developed CRPS after getting compartment syndrome post-cancer surgery where his legs were immobilized - not a lucky guy.

So now I’m waiting for Dani’s CRPS arc. Her arc will be different from his though, because he actually did his PE rigorously and got better.
