On a more serious note, I am actually amazed that the FNT/adjacent crew have largely kept silent about EVS’s provocations. Sure, Eric has slipped a few times with veiled barbs and references, but on the whole, they’ve assumed unit defence in completely ignoring EVS.
This has in the eyes of many, reduced EVS as a screeching troll desperate for attention and cast the FNT crew as ‘not wanting to punch down on a smaller channel’. I actually can’t imagine how much this must kill EVS inside. Even bloated manchild Az, who we know has a Damocles-like hair-wire hold on his impulse control, has not succumbed to giving EVS the faux-outraged Oxygen of publicity froggo so clearly desires.
Let’s be clear; they are all cunts. Unfortunately, it sometimes appears on this thread that ‘my enemy’s enemies are my friends’ - no, not here. Gary is a shrewd but completely fake and disingenuous grifter; Az is a fucking disgrace to humanity; Eric is a posturing twat who thinks he’s a real-life GTA protagonist and the rest of their associates are all as equally unlikeable.
I give grudging respect though to Gary and co for building their ‘brand’ to the levels they have, and I just know how bitter EVS must be inside that he burned bridges with them before he had any idea how big they would collectively become.
Imagine how Comicsgate would have fared if it had a direct tap into the FNT paypig customer base circa 2024. Eric knew what he was doing when he was promoting his material ever since that first post-Rippaverse campaign FNT during the balmy Summer of 2022. Sure, there are shared fans between the two bases of FNT and CG; but oh, what could have been.
But we come full circle; EVS could have hypothetically rebuilt the structure of every bridge he ever burned - but by being a lazy cunt with the work ethic of a Yorkshire benefits cheat, he would STILL have fucked the golden goose badly enough to rupture its sigmoid colon.
EVS destroyed the CG movement with his own failure to deliver. Nothing could overcome that. Period.
