I can't imagine what kind of thermonuclear batshit will occur if he wins again.
I think its going to be a lot of political looting. As you said, age is coming up on them. Another four years of a Trump administration might legitimately put them off schedule far enough that they, and by extension their plans, are dead. They've manufactured themselves a leadership crisis so they don't actually have anyone worthwhile to come in under them to continue their work, and evidently it was all about them and not the 'future' anyway.

If they conclude that the goal is no longer viable, then they'll likely go to the next best option, cash out the now useless to them political power and influence every way they can to go full wild on whatever their runner up fantasies are. It'll coincide with the likely economic faceplant coming up anyway, and they probably won't live to see the peak of wealth in the next cycle. Fuck if I know what old rich people trying to live up a life wasted looks like though.

But in a concurring opinion Monday, Kagan and the only other liberals on the court, Sonya Sotamayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson, wrote that they disagreed with the finding by five conservative justices that “a disqualification for insurrection can only occur when Congress enacts a particular kind of legislation pursuant to Section 5 of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

“In doing so, the majority shuts the door on other potential means of federal enforcement,” the trio wrote. “We cannot join an opinion that decides momentous and difficult issues unnecessarily, and we therefore concur only in the judgment.”

Justice Amy Coney Barrett, a conservative, in her own concurring opinion, agreed with the three liberals that the case did not require the Supreme Court to rule that only congressional legislation could enforce the insurrection clause.

“This suit was brought by Colorado voters under state law in state court,” Barrett wrote. “It does not require us to address the complicated question whether federal legislation is the exclusive vehicle through which Section 3 can be enforced.”

It looks like Epstein's Island and whatever the fuck they were getting into at that Bohemian Grove shit that Alex Jones got insider footage of years ago. Crossed with a whole lot of nepotism -- Senator Hunter Biden in the next decade, for example.

But nah I expect them to throw open the floodgates to anti-aging research in response. If the Transhumanists ranting on twitter are right, so far the official stance from the FDA is literally "We do not consider the effects of old age to be a disease therefore it is illegal to treat it as such." That's hampered anti-aging research for decades, because they don't want the plebs to get that theoretical tech. A 300 year old Harrison Ford doesn't work for them any more than a 300 year old Null.... But a 300 year old Pelosi still slithering around congress? They'd literally kill all of us for that.

Misogyny rising.

economic faceplant coming up anyway
what are the chances of an economic problem coming up in time for the election? i thought for sure it would happen last year when excess cash printed out from the covid scam and the houthis firing up on the red sea would be enough, not to mention the banks, i'm surprised at the amount of actions biden took to prevent the bubble from popping whilst making it bigger

For those not reading between the lines, that is Barrett signifying that if this wasn't so pants on head retarded that she HAD to vote against it, she would have joined Kagan, Sotomayor, and Token Diversity Jackson in giving Roberts the 4 he would need to flip the decision 4-5.

I'm guessing thankfully the nature of the ruling means that other states can't try again with a slightly reworded version of the same thing, which is good, cause it's otherwise the lefties standard tactic when facing resistance.

Never hire a female to do anything important.

Maybe, but its too late. All but the most science fiction optimistic (Nanites etc) treatments only preserve against future damage, not regenerate or restore. They're 30 years too late to try and reach for biological immortality. The accumulated damage is already such that they're just rolling the dice every day on what'll fail.

Even if you rushed attempted treatments for the symptoms rather than the cause out to buy time, they don't have time to wait for full clinical trials, and part of the reason this stuff is so slow and careful about avoiding human trials is because pretty much every attempted treatment is just cancer juice in animal models. Maybe they'll roll the dice, but with odds this low I doubt it.

Pretty good, but it being allowed to have any effect is pretty low. Short of a complete banking sector collapse and the associated fallout, they can probably delay anything that pops up in the next eight months with a combination of money printing, direct to bank stimulus, and general fiscal fuckery the likes of which we've rarely seen. It'd be absolutely catastrophic coming out the other side, but it'd be an opportunity for Bidens second term to push a whole bunch of new deal style crap to 'fix' the problems they made, and fill out a whole bunch of political favors and goals along the way. And if Trump Wins, then he gets to try and clean it up, and even if he succeeds they can permanently attack him for not making it a perfect success. But what's important is it won't be their fault or their problem, in their eyes at least. Whether it works out like that is yet to be seen.

In response to the SCOTUS decision Hailey has apparently pulled all ad spend.

She was literally hoping the SCOTUS would let them remove Trump. It wasn't a meme, that was literally her plan.

It's over. Trump is the Nominee.

Now we get to see if they let Biden crash and burn, try and rig it, or find a replacement for Biden.

The time to replace Biden if they wanted to was last year, I think its too late now. They already repeatedly publicly committed to him, and pushed out his opposition. Hell or High Water, he's their guy now.

The last minute desperation plays are going to be fun to watch.

Shoulda told Kamala to fuck off, tell DOCTOR Jill to sit down, and prop up a marginally more viable candidate like Bootygigs or Newsom.

But that would be the smart move, and not Our Democracy ™️.

Actually, with the incoming real estate collapse, probably unavoidable inflation death spiral, probable revelations this summer that the Warp Speed vaxes are a prion pathogen under some circumstances, Taiwan, total collapse of .mil, etc ,etc, the smart move would really be to let Trump win, blame him for everything (which is basically true, if only failure to act in some cases) and then use the next 4 years to repeately roll Trump again and fuck the GOP brand into the dirt for decades.

That would be the smart move, so they're not gonna do that.
