even the supreme Court isn't stupid enough to open up that can of worms if you kick one person off the ballot this means that you can do the same for the opposition and back and forth and back and forth. This would cause a crisis that the United States was never designed to even approach. The fact that the Democrats even tried this goes to show that they are in fact this stupid

what are the chances of an economic problem coming up in time for the election? i thought for sure it would happen last year when excess cash printed out from the covid scam and the houthis firing up on the red sea would be enough, not to mention the banks, i'm surprised at the amount of actions biden took to prevent the bubble from popping whilst making it bigger
I'm betting pretty high.

In response to the SCOTUS decision Hailey has apparently pulled all ad spend.

She was literally hoping the SCOTUS would let them remove Trump. It wasn't a meme, that was literally her plan.

It's over. Trump is the Nominee.

Now we get to see if they let Biden crash and burn, try and rig it, or find a replacement for Biden.
Damn Nimrod. You are a fucking retard.

For those not reading between the lines, that is Barrett signifying that if this wasn't so pants on head retarded that she HAD to vote against it, she would have joined Kagan, Sotomayor, and Token Diversity Jackson in giving Roberts the 4 he would need to flip the decision 4-5.

I'm guessing thankfully the nature of the ruling means that other states can't try again with a slightly reworded version of the same thing, which is good, cause it's otherwise the lefties standard tactic when facing resistance.

Never hire a female to do anything important.
My reading of this is that ACB would have been fine with it had there been an actual trial and conviction of insurrection even in the courts, meaning that at SOME POINT in the federal government (be it by congress OR the judicial branch) had officially found he was guilty of insurrection. She just wasn't keen on keeping it solely in the hands of congress as the majority did.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if the Democrats burn down everything on there way out.
Same. But with the Economy, I think its gonna free-fall naturally and not because the Dems are doing a controlled demolition of it.

The ruling class fucked up the economy starting in the late 90s withe repeal of Glass-Steagall. And then it all went to shit in 2008. And since then, its been a walking zombie.

Well I mean the economy the real one anyways did die in 2008 everything else has been on life support the pandemic basically pulled the plug on life support put the system in near death shock
And now is currently limping along again still on life support. With the newly arrived 30 million tacos our economy is dead.

Yeah you did it before and it did nothing to gun crime.

I hope some day you shit yourself enough that you drown in it.
The ATF is already opening the door to overturn the NFA in their Cargill v. Garland arguments. The ATF is arguing that the court can't enjoin their NFA reclassifications because the NFA is a tax, and courts can't enjoin tax legislation while the case is being argued. Now that they're the ones bringing it up, there's room to question if the NFA is compliant with the more recent Heller and Bruen decisions. Spoiler alert, it's not, but it could go either way because both parties want machine guns and SBRs heavily regulated/outlawed.

Mind you, this is in an era where any nigger with a smartphone can order a crate of Glock auto sears from China for $20 each. Since that became a reality in the last 10 years, the ratio of illegal to legal machine guns has skyrocketed.

A right delayed is a right denied, unless you're talking about 2A. Then it's fine if it takes 90 years to get around to arguing about the most clearly written sentence the founding fathers ever wrote.

The right to bear arms exist because it's the divine right to self-preservation. the founding fathers believed that it was an inalienable right that you could defend yourself. it's so clearly written with so much written about. that any argument that infringes upon it is an argument in bad faith like every argument that has ever been proposed against gun control.

The government cannot tell people they have no right to defend themselves that's fucking retarded on so many levels but yet here we are that should have been the canary in the coal mine decades ago

The Constitution doesn't grant rights; it acknolwedges and protects pre-existing rights.

Politico recently was bitching about "Christian Nationalists" who hold that horribly retrograde belief that human rights come from God, not the government.

These kooks really do believe that they are gods, and hate it when you remind them otherwise.

Ann Coulter was right about one thing: they hate the Rule of Law because it gets in the way of their aspirations for mob rule. Two wolves, one sheep.

Keith Olbermann is mad at the women of color on the Supreme Court. He doesn't think their reading comprehension abilities are acceptable. Based?

You must trust and listen to the experts in their field, except when they disagree with me, then they must be liquidated of their positions.

And yet, here they are. Honestly, I'm at the point where I won't be surprised if they argue that the right for a person to defend themselves only applies to people, and personhood has technically only been explicitly granted to corporations, and only implicitly to people - Ergo, Amazon can have an armed security detachment, but not you. Anything to sidestep the 2A rather than do what the founding fathers actually intended - A constitutional convention to amend or strike an amendment.

Mind you, this is in an era where any nigger with a smartphone can order a crate of Glock auto sears from China for $20 each.
Chinesium autosears are just begging to make the Glocknade memes more real than ever before.

Schizo theory: they really want someone to kill Joe Biden so they can have a nice martyrdom to excuse their actions, and so they are now playing the gun control angle in hopes of a "gun nut" doing it

Of course, that is stupid. Extremely stupid. It doesn't fit with the M.O. of right wingers and gun rights people, who understand perfectly that doing so would be a retardedly stupid move and the worst thing possible. But the people pushing this idea are so moronic they cannot understand what their enemies think at all and ascribe all opposition to simple "evil".

It fits only with either their most villainous perceptions of the right, or a full insurrection move right. Either its cartoon villains, or someone deciding that its time to overthrow the government, and then Biden would just be the start. And the latter should be a pants shitting fear, not something you try to encourage.

Isn't that why they're referred to as "natural rights" instead of "God given rights?"

If you're blowing up a Glock, it's due to overloaded ammo. The functional part of an auto-sear is made out of steel. The body of the Chinese ones are aluminum, but they don't have to be. The part you're replacing is already plastic, and 3D printed auto-sear bodies work just fine if you can manufacture the arm out of steel. The ones from Wish are about as good as you can get short of machining one yourself or spending tens of thousands of dollars to own a legal demo model.

This is all just speculation. I've never owned or interacted with anything illegal. Always default to the opinions of the fine men and women at the bureau of alcohol, tobacco, firearms, and explosives.

Isn’t it interesting how the modern federal government is anti-constitutional in almost every way? Now they’re moving on to “common sense speech control.”
