Tick tick tick, Russ, tick, tick, tick

Ketanji Brown's only commentary is going to be "he cute" next to a picture of Josh's face.

I imagine that the pro-bono lawyers are going to end up coming back, if Russ was smart he could try getting them to agree to represent him in lower court in exchange for allowing them/their organization to represent him in the Supreme Court.

Is this normal, or did they just not want to write "Kiwi Farms, a website"?
Supreme Court cases are always named as simply as possible. If there are two people involved on either side they usually go with that. It's for ease of citation purposes. Moon v. Greer is alot easier to cite then Kiwi Farms a Website v. Greer.

yeah idk what docketed means lol
It means the court found the petition acceptable and within the rules. So now we have to wait for a response of yes or no.

I'm assuming that Russ doesn't have to actually respond to this, but it's kind of funny to imagine him trying to file some of his usual bullshit legalese asking for an extension with the Supreme Court instead of whatever kind of reply he's supposed to file.

I can't decide if that helps or hinders the chances of this being taken up by the court. On one hand I can see them not wanting to touch this autistic hand grenade, but I can also imagine Justice Thomas's already wide nostrils flaring with indignation while reading what Greer must consider some of the finest legal prose put to paper.

Also, did he last minute file anything today with the court in Nevada?

No, just that it's officially in their system. Before now, it wasn't.
Could it have been outright denied from the get-go? IE their clerks could have said "this has so little value it doesn't deserve to even be reviewed"? Like if a loon somehow managed to file horseshit claims.

He is not

Utah, you mean? No, he has not.
Could it have been outright denied from the get-go?
The earliest this might get denied is on the 18th, when the Court will release its next list of Writ denials.
Think the lolyers will jump back out the woodworks to write the petition for Russ before the case is even taken or not?
Definitely not before it is taken up
