+ = a normal baby?? i was expecting a full mermaid. usually newborns are weird looking little old men but skyrim's cute for a newborn. i guess darnells long features and sammie's wide features even out to a normal looking kid. i can already tell she has her mother's eyebrows, though, so we'll see.

Baby Skyrim is adorable. The Beauty Parlor has a surprisingly high number of seriously cute kids-- Ari and Atlas immediately come to mind-- which is always surprising, considering their thread-subject parents.

@Goatchoker already said it, but you can just see it in Sabrina's face: she knows she's going to raise that kid. I think it was Rabbit Bones who once said that Sabrina would be the one to take Ma Shart's place as family matriarch, and you can see it in these photos. I really feel for her, because she's got a very small child of her own, and isn't she also trying to go to school? She looks like she already adores the little one, but she's got enough on her plate already and deserves the opportunity to make her own life with her own family.

I’ve been told that most babies come out looking strange because they’ve grown in a tight space & then their facial features get even more smushed in when they are in the birth canal.

Sorry to be realistic amongst all the optimism and cope in this thread. But this baby's already got Sammie's fucked up eyes and a squashed up nose. It'll be a few years till we really get a grasp on just how poorly these genes mixed. As of now, she's going to be sent home to a grimy hovel with two barely sentient creatures who are entrusted with her care. She will be neglected, at best.

She will grow up and be sent to an under performing public school where even the most well meaning teachers couldn't even begin to undo the damage of being raised in a family that does not prioritize education or work ethic. Any sense of curiosity, any talents or interests will be quashed by her parents. White trash like Sammie and Kim just breed more white trash and very few of those people ever rise out from the garbage heap.

The situation is bleak and I'm not going to pretend it's not.

We have seen how her other 2 are fairing with family. Twerking on camera, throwing shit at people, swearing. Bently throwing gang signs up lol pretending to shoot with finger guns.

And yes babies change a lot, I have seen ugly babies be cute kids, cute babies become dopey looking kids. Also a lot of cute/weird looking kids grow up the opposite. The only hope this kid has is to be taken away and not by a relative. That wont happen so my thoughts and prayers are with the Arkansas education department and the local law enforcement.

I believe we are having a moment of “aww cute babby!” before we collectively crash back to reality once Sammie inevitably teaches Skylan her first word (my bets are on “bitch”) and how to twerk at age one. This kid will be a brat, and she will grow up into a shitty trashy adult from a broken house, but for now she is a day old, and the world is new to her. I guess a lot of us are just bleeding hearts when it comes to babbies.

Yeah. I do realize that this baby doesn't stand a chance. It's just so heartbreaking to look at a brand-new human and realize that things are all downhill from here, and I think my brain just nopes on out. Kind of a mental version of plugging your ears and humming: "I will not think about the reality of this situation, I will not . . . "

Sabrina's little nugget is adorable. Those big eyes are killer.

Things are going to go downhill as soon as Sammie is expected to buy her own diapers and formula (I'm sure she'll be getting WIC though). Babies are expensive, they outgrow clothes like crazy, are always needing random stuff that isn't covered by WIC or EBT, like baby Tylenol, baby shampoo and Dreft and heaven help you if you end up with a colicky kid and you're easily stressed.
